Chapter 9

Beth's POV

It was the 13th of the ninth which meant it was my best friend's birthday which also meant it was 10 days until mine. For Hannah's birthday we were all going to surprise her in Wiltshire since she is visiting her family for her birthday. She suspects nothing yet Oli has been texting us 24/7 about her surprise, so I am extremley surprised since she always knows if something is different.

Joe wakes me up at 8 so we can hit the road without much traffic. I get changed into a grey crop top and some blue jeans. I rush out into the kitchen, bearing in mind the time, and grab a few snacks and drinks before doing my make up and slipping some vans and a leather jacket on.

Joe comes up behind me and scares me as I'm doing my hair in a messy bun. I jump as Joe wraps his arms around my neck and rocks me back and forth. "Ready love?" I nod and he grabs my hand, walking into the kitchen. He walks over to the countertop and picks the bag up which contains our food for the journey. I get my keys from the bowl on the end of the counter and check we haven't left anything that we'll need for the next 5 days. After i'm satified I turn the light out and join my hand back with Joe's before locking up and getting into the car. "Ready?" I chirp. "Someone's loving life today aren't they" Joe replys "Well I do have the best boyfriend in the world and I'm going to surprise my best friend for her birthday, what more could I want?" I smile. I turn the car stereo up and Joe's favourite song is on. It is called 'let it go' however it is not the one from 'Frozen' otherwise I would have changed it almost instantly as I'm not too keen on the movie either. It is the one by James Bay and I must say it is a great song.

Why don't you be you and I'll be me

Joe sings quietly and I pull out my vlogging camera to secretly vlog him singing. "You have a nice voice babe" he makes eye-contact with the camera on my lap facing towards him. "Babe" Joe moans.

We drive through the small village called Wiltshire and I point my old family home out to Joe. He shows me where they filmed Harry Potter and before we knew it pedistrains are already recognising us. To be honest it wasn't unusual in Wiltshire for people to notice you it seemed most people knew everyone anyway. One of Joe's family friends stops by my car window and I roll it down. "So you and Beth are together now are you?" Joe nods as holds our joined hands us. The woman nods and carries on her journey down the road in the direction of her house.

We arrive at 'the Sugg household' and we both go to Joe's room and drop our bags off. We meet Zoe and Alfie in the lving room watch the new episode of Catfish and Tyler texts us ask where we were forgetting we said we'd be round to pick him up from the airport by now. Joe texts him back and we both slip our shoes on before sliding into the passenger seat if my car. It takes us around 20 minutes to get to the airport and when we arrive we see Tyler standing there shivering. "Mate it is 30 degrees, it's boiling" Joe greets him as we pull up. "Mr Sugg and his girl, long time no see" Tyler replys ignoring Joe's comment. I give Tyler a hug before he slides into my back seat. "When's the marriage then?" Tyler laughs. "We are not getting married Ty" I giggle as Joe places his hand on my leg, still focusing in the road.

We pull up and are greeted by Zoe and Alfie. The boys get to work and assemble the gazebo while me and Zoe get ready. Hannah knows she's coming here but she only thinks it is to see Graham to dicuss my birthday. As soon as the boys are done they come upstairs and get changed. Me and Zoe grab the '21st' decorations from mine and Joe's room and we do up the gazebo and get the bbq up and running.

There is a knock at the door and Graham opens the door. Hannah steps in, dressed up as Oli told her to be. We all jump up and she can't even speak. She hugs us all and soon everyone is dancing to 'year 3000' by Busted.

I spend most of the night with Joe and CAspar teases us most of the night. "Caspie you're a great guy but Suggy here is my lover" I smile and Caspar pulls a sick face. I kiss Joe and he wraps an arm around me protectivley and Caspar excuses himself making me laugh. Although apart from that the night was perfect.
