Chapter 15

I engulf Mason into a hug and see a small girl standing behind him, almost hiding behind him. Was she scared of me? "This is Lorna, my girlfriend of a year. well a year and six months to be exact" I smile weakly as she steps forward revealing herself. She is quite a small woman however slightly larger than me, Zoe, Hannah and the other YouTube girls. After shaking me hand sheepishly, she instantly pulls Mason into her side as if she is scared. What had I done to make her scared?

I guide my sibling and the girl into my living room and I retrieve my seat back next to Joe and soon after resting my head on his chest. Mason looks at me confused. "same situation as you and Lorna" he nods and looks back to Lorna who is now sitting on the end of the couch opposite Hannah and Oli. Lorna remains her stone cold stare at Hannah until she realises everyone is staring at her. Ok, I'm never normally suspicious this quickly especially if it is one of Mason's girlfriends but there has to be something going on. First Lorna seems scared of me, second Mason doesn't ever just nod when I introduce him to my boyfriend and all Lorna can focus on is Hannah. To be honest it is quite distracting and I can't help but wonder what is going through her mind right now. Usually my brother can't keep his hands off of his lovers and this just wasn't right. Although, I was never the one to judge and I'm definitely not starting now.

"So what brings you here?" I ask, a bit agitated that my brother may be hiding something from me. "Can I not see my sister, and on her birthday" He replies in a slightly cheerful tone . "Yeah and tell me about the part of your life that I missed out on then. Where are you living?" I say as I'm at the edge of falling asleep on Joe but I can't since I'm so tense. "I travel a lot but right now I am currently living in New Zealand but I have taken a break to come see Lorna and then visit you before going back to NZ later tomorrow". I frown, so the whole intention of his trip was mainly to see Lorna and I was just a side of it all. Most of the night I plastered a forced smile onto my face and often exchanged looks with Hannah while talking uncomfortably with my sibling and his new toy who seemed much more comfortable now and has the personality of a slutty school girl.

They soon leave which left me, Joe, Hannah and Oli to go to the local club since we had planned it about six months ago. I throw on the most random outfit ever, still a bit pissed off with the whole Mason situation but Joe soon calmed me down a bit with a slight kiss before leaving to the club.

We arrive and see drunken bodies dancing or more like throwing themselves around the dance floor wildly. We head straight to the main bar where yet another slutty girl was waiting but I guess that's what clubs are for. Joe obviously senses I'm still agitated so he places an arm around my waist and pulls me into him. I chuckle lightly and lift me head to see the waitress giving me a death glare. We order the drink and sit down hours later. I slip my shoes off and leave them under the table when everyone drags me onto the dance floor. Joe departs and takes a few minutes to go to the toilet which I don't mind. The first thing I know I'm dancing with Hannah and the next I'm slammed to the wall and faced by familiar people yet I can't remember where I know them from. As one goes to kiss me Joe runs up and throws himself at the guy. "That's my girlfriend you know, not yours so back off!" He spits in his face. He grabs my hand and with that we're off although he knows it is not my fault and he doesn't have the slightest bit of anger towards me. We get to our front door and he pulls me into a passionate kiss before opening the door.
