My eyes were glued to my computer when a tap on my shoulder breaks it. I turn my head and see Hana, one of the trainees as she flashed me a smile, so I did the same.

"Is there any problem, Miss Hana?" I asked and she nod her head in response.

"Yes..? I kinda messed up with the encoding. Can you help me fix it, Sir?" She asked me, her expression a bit intimidated as if I'll scold her. But I nodded and stand from my seat, following her to her station.

"I mixed up the old informations with new ones." She said. So I grabbed the cursor and fixed what's needed to be fixed, she's one of the fast learners here and I'm wondering why this simple encoding will make her confused.

"You just need to sort out first the old infos or better make another documents for the new ones, so you won't get confused. Wrong encoding may lead into a bigger problem, Miss Hana." I said, with a bit of conviction in my voice. I tend to be stricter especially with these trainees since I want to them to learn, and it can be a reflection to me as a trainer.

"Sorry sir." She mumbled and turn her head down. I just clicked my tongue and patted her shoulder.

"Don't be, it's okay. You're still learning. Mistakes are inevitable but I hope you'll learn with it, okay? I want you to pass this training Miss Hana, I can see you have potential." I said and smiled at her.

She then flashed me a grin and bowed at me.

"Thank you Sir Kim. I'm glad that you are my trainer. I'm grateful to have a handsome and smart trainer." She said, chuckling. I just laughed awkwardly at what she said. She really is a brave one, she'll say whatever she wants to say.

"Are you sure you're single, sir?" She asked, out of the blue. Here we go again. I inwardly groaned, not trying to show her how uncomfortable I am.

"Hmm, yes. Unfortunately." I said.

"Ooh. Does that mean you're open with having a relationship?" She mumbled, a gleam of hope in her eyes. She's smart at work, but she's too pushy.

"You can say that." I said and straightened my body, I don't want this conversation to go further, we're at work for goodness sake, sneaking into people's personal lives is not necessary to talk about.

"I should get going. I still have some work to do." I said and leave immediately, not waiting for her reply. I rolled my eyes secretly as it makes me agitated.

As soon as I went back to my chair, Hyunjin nudged my side, snickering at me. I cocked my eyebrows at him, asking what's his problem.

"That trainee's hitting on you, am I right?" Hyunjin whispered, I groaned at him and turn my gaze to my computer.

"I'm not interested." I said. Hyunjin laughed and occupied the seat beside me, sipping his coffee.

"I see. She's cute though. But too nosy. Maybe because she wants to know if you don't have a girlfriend so she can finally shoot her shot." He said.

"Please, I don't have time for her, to be honest. And I just see her as a workmate, nothing more." I said calmly, trying to focus on my work.

"It's Dani, right?" He said making me stop on my tracks. I heard him chuckled and patted my shoulder.

"I see, well understandable. Ever since you two start bonding, I can see some changes in you. Makes me wanna see her in person more since I'm curious what did she do to you." He said and laughed.

"H-huh? Dani is just my friend. Besides, I'm sure she doesn't like me." I said. Hyunjin just squinted his eyes at me, as if what I'm saying is absurd.
