*hint of spice, can't help myself, so watch out for it*
~A back alley in Downtown Swellview~
It was light at night and the city was asleep, but even so, crime never stops. Therefore, Captain Man and his faithful sidekicks were skulking around the backstreets of Swellview looking for some good-for-nothing scum; the Ballerino Brothers. They were fairly certain that they were gonna find them and of course, looking for criminals required a good amount of stealth and quietness, but all the waiting was making Henry impatient and he desperately wanted to Ray let him do one particular thing. Something that he'd never been allowed to do in all his time as Kid Danger.
"Come on, man..." He whined as they crept around, but Ray wasn't too happy about all the noise. It was hard enough concentrating with (y/n) and the scent of her perfume following him around, he didn't need a teenager bothering him too. "Shhhhh!"
"Will you please just say yes?" Henry kept begging. He was sixteen now, surely, he should at least be given a lesson. Y'know, for emergencies.
"Kid, will you please just shhhhh?!" (y/n) whacked his chest as she stood on her tiptoes and peered over her boyfriend's shoulder. Ever her noble protector, he insisted that stayed behind him, just in case one of these criminal brothers jumped out in an ambush.
"I'll shhhh if one of you teaches me how to fly the Man-Copter." The boy countered, saying that damn phrase for the hundredth time that day. It wasn't like the couple didn't trust him, far from it, it was just that the Man-Copter represented a huge investment, approximately one-hundred thousand dollars, to be exact. It's not stupid to ban a teenage boy from flying around in your ridiculously expensive machine, especially when he sometimes tended to show off.
Henry sighed as Ray's phone began to ring, effectively ending the argument there as he brought his girl close to his chest so she could pick up on what was being said. "It's Charlotte. Go for me."
"Okay, it's confirmed. You're looking for the Ballerino Brothers." The teen girl stated, checking out all the info she was getting on the supercomputer.
"I hate those guys," Ray growled, wrinkling his nose up at the thought of having to deal with those jerks. He didn't like any criminal, but the Ballerino Brothers took the biscuit.
"You know, they're they're not even brothers." (y/n) grumbled too, folding her arms grumpily, which made Ray smile at her cute, frowning face. She always made him feel so much better.
"I don't get why you won't just--" Henry tried to butt in on their little moment, in an attempt to persuade them/badger them into giving him flying lessons, but interrupting Ray when he was admiring his girlfriend wasn't a recipe for success.
"Do you get that I'm on the phone?!" He retorted, (y/n) trying to calm him down when she felt the hand on her waist squeeze at her flesh even harder. The constant mithering was getting to her lovely boyfriend, but they had to remember where they were and who they were trying to capture; a back alley was not the place for a fistfight, something someone should've told Henry.
