"Oi wifey" Venky says coming behind me and hugging me from behind while.....as usual I chop vegetables. To be honest I should've been chopping him by now for not letting me go to work but.....fate man fate.

"Hmm" I hum as he kisses my neck making me smile a little.
"Dress up. I am taking you out today" he says in my ears rubbing his nose up and down my hair.
"Out ? Why suddenly ? Don't you have work today ?" I ask surprised , it is Saturday. Not even Sunday but yet he is taking leave ?
"I do have work and this is a business like meeting. But this guy has recently become one of the partners of our company so as per company tradition today we both would have a friendly breakfast and bring our wife or kids along if we have one. I have been waiting for you to accompany me to these kind of meetings as my wife and today , it is going to be the day and I am soo happy. This is a special one for me Jamun" he says a bit emotional making me smile.
"Ok my rasagulla. Now let me go so that I can get ready for my dear husband" I say placing my left hand on his head and ruffling his hair while he has his head still on my left shoulder.
He chuckles letting me go as he takes a carrot from the kitchen slab and bites on it as I make my way upstairs.
I get ready and we inform athai and maama and get into our car driving towards the restaurant.
Within minutes we reach a rather grand restaurant and get down after parking our car.
"This restaurant is big" I say as I clutch my hands around Venky tighter looking around at all the rich looking people.
They probably think 'Who is this fat dark ugly girl with this handsome guy ?'.
Venkatesh just chuckles shaking his head as he places his hand ontop of mine giving it a reassuring squeeze.
We reach a table which the receptionist shows where there is already a man sitting.
He is a chubby dark guy with curly hair in a simple black checked shirt right in contrast to Venky's suit.
"Hello Mr.Swaminathan it is nice to meet you" the guy says standing up and shaking hands with Venky.
"Nice to meet you too Mr.Babu" Venky says smiling.
"By the way this is my wife Vaishali , Vaishali meet our new partner Yogi Babu" Venky says introducing us and I give him a smile which he reciprocates.
"Here she comes ! Mr.Swaminathan this is my wife-----" Yogi starts looking behind us but is being cut off by Venky as he turns around.
"NAYAN !" He shouts surprised.
"VENKY !" A feminine voice shouts just as surprised.
I turn around to look at a beautiful slender lady in an amazing yellow saree right in contrast to my purple ones walking towards Venky with a smile as they both hug.
