CHP 1. YOU AND ME

♡︎❥ " YOU AND ME, WE FIGURED THIS OUT..? "

Y/N gasps softly as she sees the tiny blue particles from the bluestone. She lets go of it and places it down the table. Where they were supposed to destroy all the things in there.

"Do you think it's true? Can these stones really evoke magic...?", his soft accent filled Y/N's ears as she smiles. Looking back over to the thin man.

"Let's hope so, eh? We can do some much good with that...", she whispers under her breath as Viktor looks over at her. His smile is lowered and he looks down and walks away.

"Viktor?- Hey wait! I wasn't saying- well I was but I- It can help you!".

"Let's help other people first, like Jayce, we need to prove to everyone that this CAN work". Viktor places his hand on top of Y/N's. His eyes grow softer as Y/N smiles. "You're right - speaking of Jayce, where is he?".

...

A day passes, hope still instilled in both Viktor, Jayce and Y/N, they work tirelessly on trying to make plans to at least stabilise the stone. With a few plans and things like that, they were set to venture to where the stone lays. Where they will destroy it the next day.

"I'll climb in the window and tell you if it's clear, then I'll let you in, we'll work on it from there, okay?". Y/N looks up at everyone who nods, "but why are you the one climbing the window?! That's dangerous!". Y/N stares at Jayce with an apologetic look, almost about to say something when Viktor interrupts. "She's agile, quick thinking and will be able to handle herself, don't underestimate her, okay?".

Y/N looks at Viktor gratefully as he grins at her. Jayce nods, "I-I'm sorry".

The plan was initiated when Y/N gave them a nod, she saw all the enforcers below, her eyes keeping one eye on them and one eye on where she was looking. The rain from last night was still there as Y/N furrows her eyebrows at it. Having to be more careful than swift. She finally makes it but when she picks the window open she hears a commotion from outside the door.

Closing the window quietly she listens in. It sounded like Mel's hushed voice. Quick footsteps and then her voice again but louder, and then getting further and further away. Y/N opens the door to both of them as they blink at Y/N.

"What was that about?", Y/N questions them as she rushes them inside, "Counsellor Medarda saying that if we can prove that this stone evokes magic, we won't die". Jayce says as Y/N blinks, "you guys seriously had one job. But eh, if she lets us do it".

Y/N cracks her neck as she walks beside Viktor. Her eyes trailed his skinny hands. They started to activate the stone as Y/N got ready to stabilise it. The blue light coming from the stone was surely going to catch the enforcers attention, Y/N struggles to keep her balance as the bluestone started to shake th whole room. She yells a little, trying to keep herself still as best as she can.

They heard quick footsteps outside the door. And then the door opened. "NOW!", Jayce shouts, Y/N turns on the stabiliser which muffles out the shouts of Heimerdinger. Before anyone in that very room knew it. A big bang and a flash of blue light blinded them all.

Y/N could feel herself levitating. She started to freak out as she grasped the air for anything. She felt a hand. Soft, thin and warm. She holds onto that hand for dear life as the blinding light subsided. She sees that everything was floating, a small and cute laugh came from Viktor, beside her. "Hey why are you laughing?! We nearly basically died!". "You and me, we figured this out...?".

Y/N looks over at him, her eyes widening slightly.

Blue was his colour.

The way the light hits his face, the radiant smile on his lips, in all the years she has known this man. She has never seen a smile like that. And she decided that she will do anything to keep that smile on his face.

Viktor was quite honestly a mess on the inside. He couldn't maintain eye contact with that beautiful face right in front of him. A dream. She looked like a dream. The prettiest girl he's ever seen. He seriously had a horrible time trying to keep eye contact with her. It was just the way she stared at him. Flustering and embarrassing him.

He was absolutely starstruck.

But on the other hand, Y/N couldn't help but pull him closer. But that was when Jayce's and Heimerdinger's voices interrupted them. Coughing slightly as Y/N looks away.

Is it just her or were his eyes more twinkly than usual?

COMMENTS: Short chapter but I just wanted to see how it would do and then I would make the second chapter <33 I have already fallen in love with Viktor about 50 times and this story I have will either make me sad cause I do that or make me love him 20 times more which I- I wouldn't know how to handle LMAOAOAO
