"Franny, please say something." Shaun says as he stops packing to try and read her emotions. She was good at that, keeping it bottled away until they became too much for her to bear.

Shaun hated that she did it. He hated when she would shut down but it wasn't her fault. It's the only thing she's ever known to do and it was something she was working on. She had been making great progress until today. The day his father decided to come back and destroy his life once more.

"Shaun, I've been with you through everything. You've told me things you never told Katy. There are still things you haven't told me, why?"

"It's too much for anyone to take in." He responds

"Bullshit. You know me better than anyone, Shaun. Yet today feels like you've been a stranger my entire life!"

"You know me, Franny! I'm still the same person you've known half your life!"

"Then why not tell me everything?" Franny presses.

"Because I'm a monster!" Shaun finally admits. "The way you're looking at me now, that's what I was afraid of. There were times I wanted to tell you everything but I didn't have the courage to. This is the last way I wanted you to find out my past. Honestly I would've preferred you and Katy never have found out. I wanted to forget everything when I came to America, and when I met you two I felt like I could."

"You're not a monster, Shaun. You're just a stranger to me right now."

"Look I can explain everything to you when I get up. I have to get to Macau right now." Shaun expresses.

"Why?"

"Those guys are going after my sister next."

"You have a sister?"

"Like I said, I'll explain to you when I get back."

"No, you'll explain to Katy and I on the plane." Franny takes out her phone and messages Katy to meet her and Shaun at the airport.

"What? No!" Shaun tries to argue back but the curly haired girl was already out the door.

On the ride to China, Shaun had opened up to Franny and Katy about who he truly was. How his father trained him to be an assassin at the age of 7 after his mom died. Shaun had his hand on Franny's and would squeeze it when discussing his childhood. Franny placed her other freehand over his and gave him a smile. She had begun to feel bad for her outburst during the apartment although she was in the right. She also didn't want to add on to his pain which resurfaced when talking about his upbringing.

"Did you go through with it?" Katy asked him in reference of the hit his dad sent him on. He looks at both women and shakes his head.

"I couldn't go through with it, I also knew I couldn't go back to him." Shaun says. "Also i should also mention my name's not technically Shaun.." he then confesses. The two women look at the man in confusion.

"What is it?" Franny asks

"It's Shang-Chi." He replies

"Shaun-Chi!" Franny replies back

"No Shang.""

"Shaun" Katy adds while nodding in confidence.

"No, Shang, S-H-A-N-G. Shang." He emphasizes.

Katy and Franny look at each other smiling, while Shang-Chi puts his headphones on knowing the onslaught of jokes the girls are going to make.

Franny watched the beautiful buildings fly by her while holding onto Shang-Chi's hand. His name was something that she would have to get used to but she didn't mind. She felt as though their bond was stronger now that he was finally able to open up. However, there was something nagging Franny that he was hiding something else. She could sense it on the plane but she still refuses to push him. She's slowly starting to accept that Shang-Chi will tell her within time. Right now she just just needs to be there for him and wait until he's ready.

Franny looks over to Katy and they both smile at each other embracing the beauty of Macau. Shang-Chi admires both girls as they finally get to travel outside of their hometown. Franny looked absolutely stunning in his eyes, the way her eyes gazed widely at the sights she was seeing. Although he hated that this is the way for her to visit another country with him. He would've loved to have planned a getaway to the United Kingdom or France for her. They would've gotten to China eventually but he would've made sure it was safe to return. It's definitely not safe now for her to be here. Her or Katy. However, it's nice for him to be back in his home country alongside the two most important individuals in his life.

The car came to a stop in front of building that was under construction. Franny looked ahead of her and saw people going in and out of an elevator. They all exited the vehicle and the two women followed behind Shang-Chi. He waved both of them in and the operator pressed the button for one of the top floors. Shang-Chi held a conversation with the operator while Franny watched as the ground got smaller. "¡Adios mío!" Franny thought as her heart began to quicken. She was brought back to her senses by Katy's voice.

"Seems like a nice guy, and this elevator! Definitely up to code!" She says as Shang-Chi signs a tablet. The elevator comes to a complete stop and the door slides upward.

"Busboy!!" A man stands before the trío wearing a yellow outfit. He then proceeds to show them his phone and it's a video of Shang-Chi on the bus totally kicking ass. Franny thought it was scary at first but watching the video of the fight, it was kind of hot to her. The man speaks to us, however Franny had no clue what he was saying. She's been wanting to learn Mandarin Chinese from Shang-Chi and he was to pick up on Spanish. However both individuals never found the time to do so. The man then notices Katy and Franny and begins to speak once more to the girls.

"Sorry my Chinese sucks and she's fluent in spanish." Katy admits

"Oh, all good! I speak ABC's. The name's Jon Jon."

"Hi.. Jon Jon" Katy says as Jon Jon grabs the both Shang-Chi and Katy pulling them forward. Franny follows close behind them. Franny takes in her surroundings and sees different individuals fighting in compartments. There are people who are cheering them on and Franny assumes that this place is some sort of Fight club.

"These are all lower level fights, you are going to be fighting up there." Jon Jon draws the groups attention to the main stage. There Francisca recognizes Wong, he was apart of the Avengers! He seemed to be fighting an alien? Franny couldn't tell but she did get a little excited. Wong is able to knock out the creature and win the fight.

"I'm not going up there." Shang-Chi states. Jon Jon and Katy manage to convince him to do so and in return he would help the three find Shang-Chi's sister. Katy and Franny made there way to the bar while waiting for their longtime friend enter the ring. Katy orders to drinks and begins to place bets with spectators. Franny takes a sip of her beverage before telling Katy she needed to use the restroom. Katy told her to be safe and Franny began her search. She hadn't realized how long she had been holding off and was now seriously regretting it. It took a couple of question and directions but she finally managed to find it.

Once she finished, she realized it would be a hassle to get back to Katy. She began to maneuver through the cheering crowd. She looked ahead and saw that Shaun was already fighting in the rink. It was not looking good for him. She stood there and observed and failed to realize someone creeping up behind her. She covered her eyes as Shaun was punched in the face and thrown back by his opponent. As she began to uncover them and hand was placed on her shoulder and the grip tightened. She slowly began to look down and notice that the individual's arm had metal rings on them.

"It seems as if my children now how to defend themselves well." The voice spoke. Franny looked up at the man and he was smiling up at the two individuals in the rink. Franny then looked around and spotted Katy also watching the fight. She mentally begged for her best friend to turn around but Shaun ended up getting round housed kicked to the floor which held up her attention. She began to shake slightly knowing that this man sent trained assassin's to look for his son, she could only imagine what he himself could do.

"Don't be afraid Francisca, I'm Shang-Chi's father. Come with me and my men will handle my kids. I have a lot to discuss with my son once we all return to the compound ." He says as another man walks up grabbing my arm and pulling me away with Shaun's dad trailing close behind.
