You treasured me
Like a piece of artwork
You held in custody
For your possession.
You framed me
And curved "Mine"
All over me.

Grabbing me too tight
Would shutter my pride
And in my defence
The harder you grasped
The deeper the pieces
Pierced you.
And to leave was
More hurtful than
To amputate them.
