THE DAY ASH REJECTED SERENA

Serena didn't knew where she was going. She went to wherever her legs would carry her and it ended up in the room shared by her, Miette and Shauna.

"Serena how long will keep yourself close in that room." Shauna said while banging the door of their room.

She and Miette witnessed the whole ordeal and how it went to dust. She knew something was going on between Ash and Leaf. She didn't hated anyone for it. She also knew it would come to this someday.

Still a small part if her hoped for a happy ending. An ending where her best friend could be happy. But reality was cruel.

"Shauna." A voice called as Shauna turned around to see Miette running toward her with someone.

"She isn't opening the door." Shauna said as she once again grabbed the handle and pushed the door. All they could hear were whimpers from other side.

"Stand back." The boy said as he stood next to the door.

They expected him to go all john wick mode but he just stood in front of the door.

Silently.

"You wanna talk about it." The boy said as he heard whimpers from other side of the door.

"Go away. I want to die." She yelled as the colour from her two friend's faces drained.

"Dying won't solve anything. Everyone would be sad. Your mother, friends, your fans, Ash. Everyone will be devastated." The boy said as he leaned against the door and sat out of thr room.

"Ash doesn't care about me. He hates me." The girl said while choking on her own tears.

"No he doesn't.That moron is crying for a long time now and it is a pain in ass to silence him. Listen up Serena. Ash cares about you more than you can imagine. Just not in the way you want him to." The boy said as he reached for his phone.

"I ... I just wanted him to love me. I slapped him, I hurted him." The girl said from other side.

"I won't say anything about love and thing. But listen up. What will you do from now?" The boy asked as he scrolled through his phone.

"I want to curl up and hope it is a dream. I don't want to believe it. I.." The girl said as she once again bursted into tears.

"Curling up won't solve anything. You have a performance tomorrow." The boy explained as he sighed sadly.

Romance is pain in ass.

"I don't want to do anything." The girl said from other side.

"Your pokemons will be disappointed. They have been training for years for this moment Serena. What do you think their reaction will be when they find all their hardwork was for nothing." The boy said.

"Beside. Ash would never want you to give up till its over right." The boy said as the girl's whimper lowered a little. He could hear her trying to control herself but failing miserably.

"What will you do from here would show whether you are a strong person or someone who would be crushed under a single rejection." The boy said as he slowly stood up.

"You are a strong girl serena. You did your best." The boy said as he heard the door lock opening.

"My job is done here. Tell her Ashy boy was sorry for everything he did." He said as he turned toward Shauna and gave her a piece of paper.
