You took your shoes off before getting inside and sighed with relief. The mask fits just right but now you felt like your skin was removed when you already got used to it.
You sat to the sofa with a groan before staring at the TV playing nothing. The sheer darkness reflected the very image of you. The sight of tiredness...it was different from the gaze you saw back at the States. This was much more...better in a way.
It earned you a chuckle as you stood and headed upstairs just to get your phone before heading back down. Thinking you need to cook, you played up some tunes and prepped.
You took off the jacket, leaving your shirt as you wore the apron and went to work. Cooking was a hobby more than a work, preparing the ingredients were no different when you felt like that was where the flavor begins to form. You see it not simply as a food, but an art in it's own way. You weren't too passionate about it, you just see it as such and it makes it more fun.
The music was with you and you mumbled up the lyrics as your way to sing along. Looking up the fridge you saw a different kind of meat earning you a smile as you took it and let it defrost by the sink. Then you went to mixing the flour with the other powders as you bobbed your head front to back with the beat.
A good 30 minutes later and you finally cooked your own fried chicken, you thought Caspian just gave you some beef but you noticed the there were more to it. You looked at what you cooked and chuckled with a sense of pride to it when it looked and smelled good. You place it all in a platter and took it along with some ketchup as you headed straight to the living room.
You paused the music and was about to sit down until you realized the remote was a bit far from reach. Before you were about to get it, a thought came to mind as you let out a tentacle through your left sleeve.
It stretched and took the remote earning you a giddied smile as you sat down when you realized this thing was helpful. It hovered to your left as you took it with an arm to turn on the TV while the tentacle went back after that.
Commercials...well of course this was a little off but you shrugged and waited as you started to dig in. The food was a little hot but not too much to give that stinging pain to your fingers as you shred and dipped it to the sauce before eating.
It was good, definitely something you would want to eat everyday if it's healthy to do so. You relinquished on the taste and nearly forgot about being in Runeterra...that is of course the show finally came to view.
"Previously on Wild Rift," you heard a woman speak earning you a flinch as you looked at the TV. You ripped another piece but now your attention was to the TV wondering what sort of movies are in here
Then you saw the scene of this cave like terrain,, rocks and all that so you went back to the plate just to dip the food. The whooshing sound of the wind echoed as well as some strong thuds from the TV. Then the sound of a yelling girl followed the rhythm to the thud so now that made you look back.
You saw how she broke a door which was different from the cave so you figured it was her enemy hideout. I mean, you have no idea who's the MC or the antagonist here so you just watched as you ate.
Then a laugh, a laugh s familiar that you shuddered as you felt your face go red when you can only think of someone with that laugh. A loud raspy cackle making you groan as the camera finally turned to none other than Rowan.
Rowan was wearing a red jacket while white fur replaced the zippers that travelled around his nape. No shirt either so you can see his bare chest and abdomen and his muscles were better detailed than yours...not like you cared about that. His pants a black leather pants that was a bit tight and he rose from a golden throne.
