Chapter 2: Crazy Discoveries

(Lightning P.O.V)

When we got back to the compound we saw Hope looking a little distraught, he was looking at the readings on one computer, and we saw. Sazh, Vanille, and Fang's webcam's on another. Noel and Sarah brought back the crystal we found just in case. "What is it Hope?" I asked, Hope turned to look me in the eye, "Y'know how Noctis said he wasn't from Cocoon, as it turns out, we aren't the only ones who moved to a new world." Hope said, Yeul walked in with a bunch of papers, "Hope's right, the energy readings say that Lucis was remade just like Cocoon" she said. Everyone looked a little surprised, "I didn't see anything out of the ordinary, besides Fang and I are still rebuilding Oerba" Vanille said. "I didn't see anything either, but if me or Dajh see something we will let you know" Sazh said and signed off. After Vanille and Fang left Yeul noticed the rock that Serah was holding, "Where did you find that?" she asked. Serah looked at the rock "It was what caused the crash in the woods, Noctis said it was like the crystal from his home" Serah explained, "Yep, and I also noticed it glowing whenever he came near the thing" Noel added.

Yeul took the rock from them, "Do you mind if I study this? It might help us out" she asked. Hope nodded, "It could help us in the future, so sure" Hope said and Yeul took the rock, I turned to see Noctis talking to someone on the phone, "Trust me you guys, they're cool, they saved my ass when we first got here" he said. I listened in on the conversation "Yeah ok, but don't break bones Gladio, ok see you guys soon" he said and hung up. Noctis turned to me "A couple of my friends are coming to get me, it was nice meeting all of you" Noctis said, I was a little sad that he was leaving, "Hey, maybe we can keep in touch" Serah said suddenly, I turned to her instantly, "Are you serious? That might not be a good idea" I said, I was clearly embarrassed, but Noctis nodded, "Yeah, sure, besides I won't even get to leave anytime soon, due to ruling the place and all" he said. We all looked at him in surprise, "What do you mean?" Hope asked, "Lucis Caelum is the royal name" Noctis said. 

We all took a minute to think, "You're the king? I mean that does explain the name Kingsglaive" Yeul asked, Noctis nodded but we heard some yelling, "NOCT!!", we all turned to see three young men approaching from the car, two were walking while the third was running towards Noctis, he tackled Noctis and they wrestled but soon Noctis pushed him off. "Really dude, I thought we agreed no more wrestling" Noctis said, "Sorry dude, I was too excited, I'm Prompto by the way" the young man said. I shook his hand, "Lightning, never met anyone else as bubbly as Vanille" I said. "So these guys took you in? They're cool and all" The big man asked, "Gladio take it easy" Prompto said, "They all seem to know what they are doing, it's clear that if Noctis is alright, other than the bandage on his arm, that these people took care of him" a man with a thick British accent said. Noctis rolled his eyes, "These two are my other friends, Gladiolus and Ignis, bodyguard and advisor" he said, 'Did I mention that this dude can COOK!" Prompto said pointing to Ignis, "Hehe, I'm Lightning, and this is my younger sister Serah" I said as Serah waved. "I'm Noel Kreiss" Noel said, "The name's Hope Estheim, and this is my assistant Yeul" Hope said just as Yeul walked in. 

Suddenly we heard a loud bang, "Gladio, I thought you fixed the noisy muffler" Prompto said as they investigated. "That's no muffler my friend" Ignis said. Noctis looked over to us, "C'mon it could be something serious" he said, we all grabbed our weapons and followed. We eventually headed into the woods and saw NORA fighting a horde of monsters, "A LITTLE HELP GUYS!" Maqui asked. We all jumped into battle, I tried to head to Snow, "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?" I asked, "BEATS ME! THEY JUST APPEARED OUT OF NOWHERE" Snow yelled back. We kept on fighting, I saw Noctis fighting too, he was using a whole manner of weapons to fight, even teleporting around the place. Serah and Noel were using their double-team tactic, Hope was staying close to the rest of NORA, even Noctis's friends were using their weapons, we eventually defeated the horde, but suddenly a huge beast rose out from the ground, "HOLY SHIT!!" Prompto yelled.
