Chapter 6: Altissia and the Forest

(3rd Person P.O.V)

The group, army, and Eidolons stood by as Chaos Bahamut flew towards them with a crushing felling in his soul, everyone started firing and the Eidolons charged towards the beast. Ardyn jumped off of Leviathan and came charging towards Noctis, he quickly defended with his sword.  Lightning helping Odin take down Caius, and he turned into his Gestalt forme and Lightning started to charge towards the beast, "C'mon Caius, WAKE UP!" Lightning yelled. Noctis went to help, but Ardyn soon pinned him down with his enhanced strength, Noctis was breathing in anger as Ardyn stared him down, "I've waited a long time for this" Ardyn said with an evil grin. But the prince soon fought back and pushed him away with his sword, "Keep waiting!" Noct yelled as he charged towards Ardyn with the vengeance of an angry wolf. Gladio ran to his aid as he charged, "Need a little help?" he asked, "Thanks Gladio" Noct said and they fist-bumped.

Meanwhile the Shiva Sisters and Bahamut were pushing Leviathan back into the sea. "EAT THIS!" Snow yelled as the Shiva sisters turned into his bike. Bahamut was firing his attacks at Leviathan while Fang was running on the beast looking for his weak spot,"BAHAMUT!, HERE!" Fang yelled as Bahamut fired into the weak spot causing Leviathan to strike back with a water blast. It sent Fang flying into where Cor and the army stood to take down Chaos Bahamut, "FANG! Are you okay?" Cor asked, "Been better, this beast is really strong, what's up with him?" Fang asked, "It seems that Ardyn has him under his control, and it even augmented his strength. So we need those reinforcements NOW!" Cor yelled, "Ignis is with the others, maybe you could get him to get the others over here" Fang said before Bahamut picked her up and took her back to the beast. Lightning and Odin charged towards Chaos Bahamut with the resolve that they had back in Valhalla. 

"ODIN! WE FIGHT TOGETHER!" Lightning yelled, she floated as Odin turned into his Gestalt form,  Lightning charged towards Chaos Bahamut and started striking him as he roared in anger, but Lightning could see that Caius was in pain, clearly doing something that was against his own will. Lightning tried to strike Chaos Bahamut down, but it ended with Lightning missing and Caius striking her, but she never went down at all. "Dammit Caius" Lightning whispered as she got back up. She saw Noctis and his friends taking on Ardyn, and the others fighting Leviathan, she saw the army behind her firing at the beast, but they were soon taken out like nothing even happened. Lightning soon got back up and turned into her equilibrium form and charged towards Caius, who soon turned back to his normal human self. 

Fang and Snow teamed up to fight the beast, "C'MON!" Snow said as he had Shiva fire ice blast after ice blast, Bahamut wasn't getting through Leviathan's armour, but that changed when something else punched Leviathan, Snow and Fang turned to see Alexander helping Bahamut, "GUYS!" Hope said as he ran up, followed by Vanille and Sazh, "Hey, how did you get here?" Fang asked, "Ignis helped us, he got a distress call from Cor and we came running" Sazh explained, they group saw Ignis helping Prompto, Gladiolus, and Noctis fight off Ardyn, "We got our own problems, shall we Sazh?" Vanille asked as her eidolith appeared, "You don't have to tell me twice, BRUNHILDE!" Sazh yelled summoning his Eidolon, "HECATON!" Vanille yelled summoning her many-armed Eidolon, the group charged against Leviathan. 

(Meanwhile)

Noel and Serah were waiting for a surprise attack but nothing happened, Mog was playing with Dajh while Yeul was waiting in the lab to see if there was anything in the surrounding area of New Bodhum. "Y'know we should be out there" Noel said, "Yeah, definitely, we need to fight too" Serah said backing up her best friend. Yeul soon came out of the lab, "Guys, nobody's on their way, but there is a spike in that forest where we found you and Dajh" she said, "You want us to check it out?" Noel asked, "Yes, it could be important or dangerous" she said, "C'mon Mog!" Serah yelled to the Moogle. "Kupo! Sorry Dajh, I gotta go" Mog said to the little boy who he was playing with, "Aww really?" Dajh asked, "Sorry Kupo, I wish that I could play longer but I've got something to do, Kupo" Mog said. Dajh waved as Mog left with Noel and Serah into the forest, Yeul gave them communicators so they could talk to her when they got close to the spike.
