Going back home

My alarm goes off and I growl at the annoying ringing but decide to go ahead and just get up. I make myself some coffee and get started in the bathroom.

I call in at work and let them know I might have food poisoning as I try to sound super sick and they give in to me missing work. I giggle as I hang up, proud of my acting skills.

Once I do my business, I brush my teeth and comb my hair, deciding on straightening it and then curling it, because my hair is curly itself but not for how I want it for today. I then apply my makeup doing something more light toned, and dressing in gray baggy slacks and a white long sleeve button up, paired with low black heels.

It is now eight thirty, so I grab my black purse and walk out the door closing it behind me. I make it to the elevators and then out the lobby and down the street, where I see a coffee shop that I spotted the other day while shopping.

I order an vanilla iced coffee and a cream cheese bagel. I sit down and get on my phone, once I finish it is nine thirty so I go to the bathroom, check my reflection and once I am content I call a cab and head to my interview.

I arrive to my interview at ten and I realize I'm pretty early but it gives me time to prepare and relax before going into it. I want to do my very best. I thank God I remembered to tuck my portfolio in my bag for the interview, I thought for a second I left it.

Around ten forty five, a professional looking lady came to greet me. She wore black heels, and a white blazer suit, her hair up in a tight bun and minimal makeup. She is tall with long legs and black jet hair, she is very pretty but I can tell she is a bit older, maybe in her mid fifties.

She addresses herself as "Mary Black" and I realize she is my hopefully future boss, I shoot up in my seat as I shake her hand and she smiles sweetly at me. We walk back into her office as she takes a seat behind her desk and gestures me to take the chair in-front of her.

The conversation starts off well and we talk about my previous jobs and a little about myself, my goals and aspirations etc. I really like her and I do think I would love this job. I try to stay as professional as I can and try to sound sweet and open. She seems to like me and I really hope I get this job.

The interview ends around twelve and we shake hands as I gather my stuff and head out her office. Taking a slow walk out the building as I look around. I walk pass many offices and the place is so grand and beautiful. It's filled with therapist sayings and snacks, coffee bar, decor and more. I would really love to be here.

As I walk out the interview I call a cab and make it back to the hotel, I want to sleep but I figure I can just do it on the train. I pack up all my clothes and belongings in my suitcase and take a cab back to the train station. My hearts tugs at the thought of leaving but I will be back here...one day.

I board the train and sit near the back as I grab out my book and get excited to finish it before reaching home. I get a few pages in and feel a presence next to me standing above me, so I look up and my heart drops, the Hazel eyed stranger is standing above me staring with a questioning look.

I stare back confused by what he is doing.

"What?" I ask, genuinely confused on him guarding around me.

"I said my seat is beside you." His deep voices hits me again and my insides mush.

Why am I acting this way? Gosh Azalea get it together!

"Oh!" I jump up and move out of the way for him to sit down. He slides in his seat and I take mine after him.

This is so weird.

Weird he is back and sitting right here. My curiosity overtakes me as I wonder where he could've possibly gone last time on the train, so I push down my fear and awkwardness and just ask.
