My new home...

It's been about an hour since I last saw or spoke to the stranger. I've sat in the same spot and contemplated my new life. Trying to also figure out if I can escape but not knowing how or when the best time will be. Should I fake liking him so he trusts me and then make my escape? Or try to bounce as soon as we land or get to wherever we are going.

The plane begins to descend and panic sets in. I rush over to the small jet window and look outside and see as we are passing a beautiful ocean and soon begin passing large mountains with trees everywhere, snow decorating the ground.

I still have no clue where we could be.

The jet finally lands and once it stops I stand from my feet.

The lady who helped me earlier stands by me with a bright smile and I huff at her happiness. Glad she's in a good mood.

I don't know any of these peoples names and It bothers me but at the same time, I don't find quite the point in getting to know the people who kidnapped me.

I draw in a deep breath and the lady next to me hands me a thick coat.

"Here, you're going to need this." She smiles.

"It's too cold outside!" She burrs and groans dramatically. "I'm not too found of the cold."

I side eye the old women and walk without the jacket towards the door of the jet. She huffs behind me at my rudeness as we wait for the door open.

Two men come out of the front of the jet, I'm guessing the pilot and co-pilot as they open the door and a small stair case comes down the jet, touching the ground.

I walk out first getting hit with the freezing winds. I shake like crazy as I wrap my arms around myself. Trying to keep myself warm. I want the jacket but at the same time I don't want anything from these people.

I look out ahead of me and see there is no possible escape as we are surrounded by trees and snow. I would surely die if I tried to run.

A car parks in front of me and I wait no time to open the door and slide in trying to get warm as soon as possible.

I hear a growl let out as the stranger slides in next to me and I push myself all the way to the end of the other door, trying to create as much distance as possible. The older lady slides in next and sits in a seat off to the side of us in this large looking limo.

I lay my elbow on the side of the door and hold my chin with my hand as I stare out the window. Not saying a single word or looking at any eyes.

As the car drives off I notice all the wooden trees and soon many buildings as we pass a sign saying "North Carolina." Now I know where I am. And not too far from Maryland.

We sit in the car for an hour as I try to conjure up all the possible escape plans.

Once we make it to a driveway I gasp as I almost shoot up in my seat. I'm the first to step out and I look in front of me at a large cabin house.

It's stunning.

My breath hitches in my throat at the size of it. It's the biggest house I have ever seen and I know I will for sure get lost in there. I also underestimated him being "rich" because he is filthy rich. I mean crazy rich. Richhhh rich. Dear lord.

As I stand in shock I see the stranger and the older lady come out. The stranger doesn't glance in my direction as I hear him whisper to the older lady. If it wasn't for my wolf hearing I wouldn't have heard it. "Make sure she comes inside and show her to her room." He says, sounding a bit annoyed as he walks off towards the house and makes his way inside.

I'm standing here shivering and I roll my eyes at his lack of initiative to take me in himself but if he tried, I might've hit him.

She walks close to me and softly looks at me. "Come with me." She spoke as she takes off ahead of me. My feet stay still in my place and I roll my eyes again, not wanting to take orders.

"You'll freeze out here you know?" She speaks with the raise of her eyebrow.

I huff as my feet begin to drag behind her knowing she is right. I'd rather not take a foot in that place, but I'm freezing my behind off.

As she opens the door my mouth gapes open at the sight. Beautiful wooden floors and shining marble walls. We walk straight into the living room from the door and a huge chandelier covered in deer horns and small lights with some crystals hangs from the tall ceiling. To the left of the living room is a huge outstanding kitchen. Marbled counters, a huge gas stove, oven and microwave that look shiny and new. large open windows litter all around.

A few pieces of decor sit amongst the counters and an awesome fridge that has a screen on it. I would be more excited if I weren't being made to stay here. Not for long though.

"Come along." The lady says as she holds onto my arm lightly and pulls me past the living room to the far right where we come past large open windows that look outside. We enter down a hall and she opens the door. A large room is displayed. A bed in the shape of a circle sits in the middle of the room decorated with white covers and fluffy gray pillows and a sage colored blanket thrown across the end of the bed for an accent color.

I stand silent in the doorway taking in the two white dressers and few pieces of decor that are sage and gray. The floors are wooden and there is a huge white rug tracing the ground in front of the bed.

"This is your room." She smiles at me and I turn to her in shock.

"My name is Anne, by the way. Let me know if you ever need anything. I will come to check on your later." I nod my head and walk into my room a bit further taking in the view. Large windows are placed at the furthest wall with gray curtains covering them but they are pulled back so I can see the beautiful trees placed all around.

Once I hear her retreating steps I close the door and lock it. I walk deeper into the room and see a huge walk in closet to the left and to my far right is a magnificent bathroom. An amazing walk in shower with a big bathtub filled with jets all around it. Two huge light ringed mirrors above a granite sink.

I walk over to the windows and stare out at them, wishing I was free. Tears stream down my face at my bondage and I wish that things were so different. Mainly, I really miss my mom. How dare my so-called mate take me from her and not even let me say goodbye. I don't even know if there will be a funeral, and him not allowing me of that...makes me hate him.

Snow falls down gracefully as I stare at the freedom of the snow. Wishing I were anywhere but here.

I walk over to my bed and climb under the covers, my skin hitting the satin sheets. I stare at the light beginning to fall as the sun sets.

There is a knock at my door and a jiggle on the handle. I then remember that I locked it but I don't have it in me to go unlock it. I simply just stay quiet and hide my head under the covers wishing to be left alone. But the sound of the door unlocking makes me pop my head out of the covers and look over. The older lady by the name of Anne stands in the doorway and quietly walks over to my side of the bed.

She holds a tray in her hand and quietly whispers my name, I don't respond. My eyes at this point are closed so I'm hoping she goes away thinking I'm just trying to sleep. When I make no movements she sets the tray down on my bedside table and leaves the room keeping it unlocked.

Tears pour down my cheeks as I cry for hours on end. Eventually my mind drifts off to sleep, hoping that this day will finally be over.
