The New Baby

EMMY POV
We just landed in LA. The helicopter ride went smoothly, Brendon was fine during the entire ride luckily.

"So I called Sarah, as soon as we landed and guess what?" I tell Brendon.

"Her water broke, so she'll be here very shortly to give birth." I tell him holding onto his hand.

"No worries, I'll make sure to tell them to move Sarah and the baby down here into this ward, if not I'll ask them to bring them down here to see you" I tell him rubbing his hand.

I feel his thumb rubbing my hand.

I think Pete is on his way. As on cue I hear him walk into the room.

"How are you Emmy? How was the ride? Any improvements on this guy?" He asks me.

"Not much, he's been twitching his hands a lot lately, but nothing too bad. Anyways thank you for being here and keeping an eye on him, but I need to go check on Sarah" I hug Pete as I walk out.

"Bye dad! I'll see you later" I say giving him a kiss on the cheek.

*30 minutes later*

Finally, I was able to go see Sarah. They finally set her room up and all.

I knock on the door before heading in.

"Come in" I hear Sarah groan. I walk into the room and see Kala sitting on the chair besides Sarah as she lays on the hospital bed.

I set the flowers down on the table that I got for Sarah.

"My gosh, Emmy you're here" Sarah says as she sees me. Sarah gets up and scoots herself to a better position.

"Come here!" Sarah scoots over and has me sit besides her.

"My gosh I miss you so much" I tell Sarah hugging her tightly. "I do too" she tells me rubbing my back.

"I miss your dad too" she tells me. "Yea, I know. I miss him too" I tell her wiping away her tears. We both sit there having a conversation on the bed.

"Speaking of your dad. Do you think I can go see him before this little one makes an appearance?" Sarah asks me. I shrug my shoulders and we both look at Kala.

"I mean sure, it'll probably help the baby come out sooner" she tells us. I help Sarah get off the bed.

"It's sort of a far walk, so I think it's best we push you half way there and then you can walk the rest if you'd like" I tell Sarah and she agrees.

I take the wheelchair at the end of the hall. And let Sarah sit in it. As she sits I readjust her seat.

"Alright here we go" I say starting to push Sarah towards Brendon's room.

We stop half way to let Sarah walk. She uses the wheelchair as a walker and I walk besides her to lead her to the room.

Finally, we reach his room. I knock on the door to let us in. Pete then opens the door for us to come in. I push the door more and let Sarah go through first and stand behind Sarah just in case she falls.

"Oh my, Brendon!" Sarah says walking faster towards him.

"Woahh, slow down Mom. We don't want to hurt you either"I tell her holding onto her.

I push the wheelchair to the side and let Sarah sit besides Brendon on the chair.

I decided to walk outside, and let Sarah have her time with Brendon.

"I know it's tough seeing them like this. Especially B, but you know he'll want everyone to be happy" Pete tells me.

"Yea, I know" I say, as I crouch down besides the wall.
