Date Night

AWSTEN POV
I park my car in front of the Urie's house.

"Is this too much?" I mumble to myself as I hold a bouquet of flowers that I got for Emmy. "Should I bring it inside the house or give it to her when she's inside the car?" I question, I take the bouquet with me as I walk over to the porch.

I start pacing the porch back and forth, "what should I even say? 'Hey Mr. Urie or Mrs. Urie I'm here to pick up Emmy for a date?" Or "Sup Brendon or Sarah, how are you guys, well I'll see you guys later Emmy and I are going on a date?" I mumble.

"Nah" I say. "Umm hello Emmy you look beautiful tonight, are you ready to go?" I rehearse what I want to say. I think about not bringing the bouquet.

As I'm about to walk back and put the flowers back in the car, the front door opens.

"Oh, hello Awsten?" I hear Sarah greet me. I slowly turn around.

"Hi um Sa-Mrs. Urie, umm this is for you, what I mean Emmy I'm here to take her on our adventure tonight" I explain to Sarah.

"Oh yea that's right. I'll go get Emmy for you. Please come in, while I put this in a vase" Sarah says taking the flowers.

Moments later, I hear someone coming down the stairs. I turn around and say, "you look beautiful this evening" I say.

"Well thank you, but um I'm pretty sure that was meant for Emmy she'll be down in a bit. And my guy calm down" Brendon tells me as he pats my shoulders. As he sits down in his wheelchair.

"Thanks Mr. Urie" I blurt out.

"Ughh you kids and Mr. Urie. Just say Brendon already I'm not that old" Brendon rants as he pushes himself away.

I hear footsteps heading down the stairs, I look up and see that it's Emmy at last coming down the stairs. She looks so stunning. I couldn't take my eyes off of her, she looked so beautiful as she comes down the stairs.

"You look, gorgeous" I say as I watch her finish her last step.

"Why thank you. You look handsome too Mr. Knight" Emmy says coming in for a hug.

"Well you kiddo have fun and don't worry about me, Emmy. I'm fine I have Sarah and Elijah to keep me entertained, but be home by 10pm" Brendon says. Emmy goes over and kisses his forehead and she hugs Sarah.

"Well let's get going" I say as I loop my arm around Emmy's.

We make our way into the car and I drove to our destination.

BRENDON POV

It's been an hour since Emmy left with Awsten. The look on Awsten's face when he saw Emmy coming down was just so joyful. I'm glad that Awsten found Emmy. Hopefully they'll be together forever because they look nice together, let alone Awsten is very caring about Emmy. So I approve of him.

"Whatcha thinking babe?" Sarah asks me as she sits besides me.

"Just our daughter all grown up and in love" I mumble.

"Yes, I agree" she says.

"Also about love, let's get married. We've been engaged for a year now and I think let's tie the knot this year, you're basically Mrs. Urie at this point" I tell Sarah and she nods as she comes in and kisses me.

"Let's do it, I want to do our wedding in the spring if you don't mind so in a few months" Sarah tells me and I agree with her.

Sarah brings out her laptop and sits besides me as we start to plan our wedding.

EMMY POV
Awsten took us out to a fancy/casual restaurant. It was an Italian/American infused restaurant.

As we sit at the table, we start to talk and get to know each other more. Apparently, Awsten and I have a lot in common. I felt like I have known Awsten my whole life.
