"Y/N! How you passed! I'm so happy for you." Yoarashi gleamed, throwing his arm around my shoulder as usual.

"Thank you so much. I'm so excited." I took my phone out and took a picture to send to mom and Marcus.

I looked up at him and asked, "what about you? Did you pass?" His gaze dropped as he said, "Unfortunately, no."

"Awe, Yoarashi. There's always the remedial exam you can take." In the corner of my eye, I could see a very angry Bakugo coming in our direction.

"That is true, Y/N, but I have a very important question to ask." He replied.

"Did you pass?!" Bakugo asked, snatching the card out of my hand. "I know you see it."

Sighing, he said, "I knew you weren't as stupid as you seem."

"Y/N isn't stupid. Please refrain from the name-calling." Bakugo glared at him and asked, "Who the hell are you?"

"This is one of my good friends from Shiketsu High. Inasa Yoarashi."

The two reached out to shake hands, but the tension between them was obvious. As he shook my hand, I nudged Bakugo to introduce himself.

"Katsuki Bakugo."

It was awkwardly silent for a few seconds before I spoke up.

"Anyway, did you pass?"

A sneer filled his voice. "No! I've got to do the stupid remedial training!"

"Turn that frown upside down, Katsuki," I teased. I continued to tease Bakugo and Yoarashi until Mr.Aizawa came up to me and took my license.

"Wait. What're you doing?" I asked frantically. "Due to the severity of your quirk. You are also going to have to do remedial training."

Laughing nervously, I asked, "Is Ms. Joke here?"

I heard Bakugo and Yoarashi snicker in the background.

He stayed silent as he looked at me through his jet-black hair. Not a single smile or any indication of a joke or Ms.Joke.

"I can't lie. You're making me nervous right now, Mr. Aizawa."

He looked at me for another moment and then asked, "When was the last time I was known for joking?"

"Learned trait." I swung my arms back and forth. "Training starts next week." As he walked off, he placed my card in his pocket.

I covered my face out of embarrassment. "My ego has been bruised." I sighed.

Yoarashi patted my back and said, "Cheer up, Y/n. I will be there too, and your little friend."

Bakugo huffed under his breath and rolled his eyes. "Isn't it time for you to go back to school?" he asked.

"It's been a long day, you know. I think we should all go home and reflect on the choices we made." I laughed uncomfortably.

He bowed and tipped his hat as he uttered, "You're right. It was nice seeing you again, Y/N." I waved goodbye and watched as he walked to his bus, joining the rest of his class.

"Y/N, let's go." Bakugo walked away and I quickly followed him to our bus. "I want the window seat."

"Who told you I'd sit next to you?" I took out my phone to check the notifications. As Mr. Aizawa sighed, he ordered everyone to get on the bus.

I let Bakugo get his window seat. "Bakugo. Do you have your phone charger?"

"I didn't bring it with me." I groaned under my breath and set my headphones in my ears.
