Jonathan frowns hearing his youngest son screaming happily on the other side of the phone.
Just yesterday he kept shouting at him and angrily cursing because he once again didn't come to celebrate his birthday with him.
Now he is too squeamish?
If that is strange then what?

"Lower your voice, do you want to make my ears rot from your shouting?"

"Hehe."

Jonathan smiles hearing Louie's giggling voice.
He almost forgot how sticky this son is.After he enters his rebellious age, he keeps making unreasonable demands. Since he is a son from a mistress,he can't bring home and treat him the same as his legitimate children.
Louie's mother died from an accident when Louie was just 5 years old. Though his wife never gives an opinion about raising his illegitimate son she strictly demands that Louie should never enter their house. It's not unreasonable demand seeing how patient she was toward Louie's existence.

"Are you happy? No longer mad at me?" Jonathan asks.

"Oh?" Louie frowns. He is so happy to hear from his father that he has already forgotten the past.
He checked the date again. It's just two days after his birthday. He doesn't recall what happened or what he is dissatisfied about.
"I'm not mad. Dad, when are you visiting me?" After he came to the main house at the age of 18, he can no longer act close to his father or his other siblings will feel unhappy.
There are times, even though he is already 20 years old, he wanted to act coquettish and cling to his father but given his status and to act so immature, he will only anger his father.
But right now, as a child deprived with love and attention, he can still justify being clingy.

Jonanthan sighs.
"I won't be able to visit you. We are ......going on a vacation abroad."

"Oh."

Jonathan thought Louie would start shouting again. He can't even attend his simple birthday but he has time to go on a vacation abroad.

"Then Dad, which country are you going to?" Louie is still happily chatting.
Louie got numbed with the different treatment already.

"Your sister Ivanna wants to go to Maldives this year to celebrate her Graduation."

"Oh. Buy me a souvenir dad." Louie got excited. His father never says no when it comes to spending money.

"What do you want?"

"Gold! I mean jewellery or watches?"

Jonathan frowns.
"Why do you suddenly take interest in those things? Don't you want me to buy you toys?"

Louie rolls his eyes.
He has so many toys. But when their family collapses he can barely sell them. And he is not a careful person. He damaged a lot of his toys. Not worthy in collectors eyes.

He actually wants to ask for money. But right now, he just has pocket money. Even he will get suspicious if someone who has money asks for more money even though he doesn't need it.

"Well okay. I'll look it up for you."

"Thanks dad! You are the best."

"Just behave and let your Nanny Betty call me if there is an emergency."

"Okay."

Louie smiles after the call.
Though he hates Betty. She is good at what she does. She does steal but it's not a large amount. He can tolerate her till he comes back to the main house. No problem.

He left the house after eating.
He called his on-call driver, Soriano.

"Where are we going today, young master?"

Louie has plans for his summer vacation.
With his school friends.
Most of them came from well-to-do families. This summer vacation he will learn 2 vices thanks to the older siblings of his friends dragging them to clubs and bars all over the city.

Smoking and drinking.
He even got a smoking addiction and his father sent him to a rehabilitation center for 2 years.
For his precious 2 years, he shouldn't touch cigarettes in this life again.

"I want to go to the mall."
He doesn't know where to go. But he can just buy jewellery as he stroll the mall. He doesn't know about the market value of gold or silver in the future but for now, this is all he can think of.

He is relaxing on the back of the car. He is looking at the neighborhood and sees a boy being beaten by an auntie on the side of the road.

"STOP!"
He shouted.

The driver hits the brake.
"What happened young master? Are you hurt?" The driver asks hurriedly.

Louie raised his head.
His forehead is red.
He hits his forehead in the chair of the driver's seat.
But his worried expression is not about the pain.

Before, when the company is in a decline, his oldest brother brings him to a gathering.
They are here to find people that will invest in their company. It's a crucial period but the company is not yet in bankruptcy.
Everyone in the party are important people but there is one man, though he is as old as his father, he still looks handsome and the cold air around him is impressive. Everyone tries to flatter him despite his arrogant demeanor.

"That's Lawrence Abrenica. The multi billionaire businessman. He is one of the top 20 richest people in Asia."
His big brother whispers.
"Everyone wants to climb his bed despite his age. If they get impregnated before he dies, their son will inherit everything."

"He doesn't have a son?"

"He has one. He was kidnapped at birth and when he finally located his whereabouts, he learned he was already dead. Abused by the clueless wife of the kidnapper that took him. Say, I heard he is around the location where you grow up. If you only befriend his son and save him, maybe we don't need to solicit so much." His brother sneers.
"You are so useless."

He just rolls his eyes.
He heard about a kid dying around his area but who cares about insignificant people?
Even if he comes across him, how can he help him? Take care of him like a pet?

The boy already stood up and followed the woman that beat him.
There is one unlucky boy around the area.
His father died in an accident and his step mother found a gangster boyfriend. Together these two people beat up the boy.
They don't know that this is not actually the dead husband's son but a kidnapped billionaire's son.

"Can I....take him?"
If he raised this boy. It's better than buying jewellery!
It's like taking care of a hen laying golden eggs!
