SIX YEARS LATER.

Cigarette smoke puffed from her plump deep colored lips. Adding to the already smokey atmosphere of The Lanes. The silver hoop on her bottom lip glistening from the dim lights bouncing off of it. A black hoodie slouched over her head—her only means of identification being the short wavy crimson bangs peeking from under the hood. With one hand holding her black paper wrapped cigarette, the other was stuffed into the pocket of her loose fitting jacket. Her slightly exposed hips glided side to side sensually, but her feet stepped with purposeful potency. The tips of her thick soled boots scraping the cement in every step.

The streets were louder than ever before—tons of people high running the streets and losing their shit. Ignatia swore to Gods that she was born from the worst seed, having to walk around those people everyday. Even excluding the shimmer addicts around, she just blossomed from the wrong seed—the worst seed.

In her childhood, despite all the bad things that happened to her. She harbored grace for it and everyone around her. Despite it all, she was, for the most part, a total sweetheart. Iggy loved and she loved hard. But because of that, she was stuck with the gnarliest scar on her back partnered with a shattered heart and soul. After that life changing night, she'd learned her lesson. There was no hope in this life—not hers, specifically. So how was going to go about it? Everyone she cared about was gone—most likely dead, and she was alone again. There was no one to keep her grounded. There was no one to keep her sane. So how could such an undeveloped creature cope with her losses?

Iggy suffered after that night. Not so much because of the injuries to her body, more so the injuries to her heart. All she could think about was Mylo, Claggor and... Violet—even Powder! And on some nights... She only thought about Vander. She almost died on two occasions that night, and she hated herself for surviving both of them. What would it take for her to not exist? That's the thing. It would take more than it would for a normal human to take her out. Her mother, Mira, was right all those years ago. She wasn't like everyone else, that's probably why she lasted so long.
