Chapter twelve

Doyoung POV

I went to my car and rush Y/N to the hospital. On my way to the hospital, I call both of my parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Kim: what happen Doyoung?

KDY: Mom. Dad, emergency. I think Y/N is getting worse. I almost reach the hospital. I will wait for you guys there.

Mrs. Kim: Okay, drive safely dear.

After that I hung up the call.

KDY: Y/N please, hang in there. We almost reach the hospital.

-At the hospital-

I bring Y/N to the nearest nurse and she bring Y/N to the Emergency Room.

KDY: Please give her to Dr. Kim

Few seconds later, our parent comes running to me.

Mr. Kim: Doyoung, where is Y/N? What happen to her?

KDY: She is in the ER right now. I already told them to give her to Dr. Kim. So, like we know. Y/N already looks pale today. Unfortunately also today, something happen to her at school and she got a heart attack. Right at that moment, I saw her almost faint and catch her before she fall.

Mrs. Kim: My poor baby. Alright Doyoung, you can go eat now. Mom and Dad will wait for her. I know you haven't eaten yet. Here take this money and eat.

KDY: Okay mom.

I don't feel like eating something at the moment. So I decide to walk around the hospital until I get tired. After one hour of walking, I decide to go to the cafeteria and buy a drink.

Cashier: What would you want to order?

KDY: one cup of hot chocolate please.

Cashier: Okay, please wait a moment.

After a few minutes, my drink is ready to be served.

Cashier: Your drink is ready.

KDY: How much is it?

Cashier : That will be $1

KDY: Here you go, Thank you.

I pay her, take my drink and leave.

After that I decide to buy some snack and drink for my parent. After done buying the stuff, I went to my parent.

-ER-

KDY: Mom. I'm back. And I bought you guys drink and food.

Mrs. Kim: Thank you dear.

Few minutes later, Dr. Kim came to us. We stand up and went to him.

Mr. Kim: How is Y/N Dr. Kim?

Dr. Kim: We tried everything we could but Y/N body is not cooperating. She is getting weak so we suggest being prepared for now. Right now she is sleeping, maybe soon she will wake up.

My parent starts to cry. So I talk to Dr. Kim.

KDY: Thank you Dr. Kim.

I said and bow to him. Then he bow back to me and pat my shoulder. After that he went away. We went to Y/N room and saw her lying with oxygen on. My mom went to her and holds her hand.

Mrs. Kim: Baby, please wake up. Mom needs you right now. Don't leave us Y/N.

I can't stand the sight of my mom and Y/N right now, so I went outside. Right when I was about to sit. Notification enters my phone and open it.

PJW: Hyung, how is Y/N doing?

KDY: Let meet at xyx café now.

I close my eyes and phone. I try to calm myself down and went to the xyx café.

Author POV

After almost one hour

Y/N woke up and she can see that she is not in her room. She looks at her right and saw her mom sleeping. But, suddenly her mom wake up and hold her hand.

Mrs. Kim: Dear, are you okay?

Y/N smile at her mom and said.

Y/N: Mom, I want water.

Mrs. Kim: Okay, wait here. I will call Dr. Kim and the other.

Doyoung POV

-xyx café –

I order a drink while waiting for Jeongwoo. Few minutes later, Jeongwoo came rushing to me.

PJW: Hyung, how is Y/N?

He said while panting.

KDY: Sit down

After that, he sits down and catches his breath.

KDY: I am so disappointed in you Park Jeongwoo. I trust you to be with my one and only sister but...

I stop for a moment and sigh.

KDY: You hurt her.

PJW: Hyung, I'm sorry. I can explain it.

KDY: I don't need you explanation Park Jeongwoo. Don't you remember what I said to you, went you said that you want to be Y/N's boyfriend.

PJW: I remember

(Flashback)

After our basketball training, we went to sit at the bench before changing up. When suddenly, Park Jeongwoo said something that shocking.

PJW: Doyoung hyung...

KDY: What with your tone? Did you do something to me?

PJW: It's not that but..

SJH: Hyung, just said it. What are you so afraid of?

WH: Jeongwoo yaa, should I tell him?

KDY: What going on? Am I the only one who doesn't know?

SJH: You know hyung. Jeongwoo hyung like-

Before Junghwan could finish his sentence, Jeongwoo said something.

PJW: I like someone from my class.

KDY: Who is she? That makes you so scared to talk.

PJW: She is Y/N. Kim Y/N.

KDY: My sister!

I said shock

PJW: I'm sorry, but I can't help it. It like love at first sight. Hyung, please help me. I really love her.

KDY: Chill bro. I will but with one condition.

PJW: What is it?

KDY: When you are with her, NEVER. NEVER hurt her. DON'T even try to scare her. Protect her with your whole life. If anything, ever happen to her because of you. You can never see her again. She is sensitive. You understand?!

PJW: Yes hyung.

(Present)

PJW: I know I'm wrong hyung but it really not like what you saw. I knew you don't want to hear my explanation. I'm sorry hyung but please. Please let me meet her one last time.

Before I could even answer him, I got a call from my mom.

On call

Mrs. Kim: Doyoung, where are you? Y/N is awake. Come here now.

KDY: Okay mom, I will be there as soon as possible.

I hung up the call and ready to leave the café. When I was about to walk away, Jeongwoo hold my wrist.

PJW: Hyung, let me meet her just this one time please. I won't say anything.
