I nod and we keep walking through the thick woods. I hear the sound of water trickling from a nearby stream. I look over and see Danny taking pictures with the camera he brought. The way he takes in everything around him and adores it with his whole heart, the way he stays silent so he can hear every little noise of nature, the way he is himself.

"I think we're getting close to the lake, I know you're tired of walking, so let me piggy back you the rest of the way" Danny says, stopping us in our tracks. Normally I would argue and say he doesn't need to do that, but he was right, I was very tired. I nod and kiss his cheek.

"Thank you" I say quietly, as he kneels down for me to get on his back. Once I'm secure and have my legs around his waist, he lifts me up slowly.

We continue walking to the lake, he point out at things he sees while smiling and keep me steady on his back. He jokes about the last time we were hiking and I was the same way as before.

"Maybe this needs to become a regular thing, go hiking every other day. What do you think Love?"

"Sounds like a plan, you know I love hiking but I am very out of shape so it kills me every time."

He laughs lightly, "Oh, I know baby, but we can both get in better shape. Oh look, we're almost there baby!" He points at the lake that starts to come into view. Once we get closer and find a good patch on grass to sit on, Danny sets me down gently. He kisses me softly. "I love you."

Danny grabs the blanket from the bag and lays it down on the grass. We both sit, I lay my head on his shoulder as he pulls out the fruits, sandwiches, waters, and veggies we brought. I give him a light kiss on his neck. He looks over at me with a big smile and kisses the top of my head. I smile. I grab his camera to take some pictures of the mountains on either side of the lake. We start to eat, talking and joking. I throw a grape at him for a joke he made about me and throw my head back laugh. I hear the sound the camera clicking.

"What was that for?" I laugh.

"Because, you're cute and I love you" he says smiling, showing me the picture. For once I actually enjoy the picture taken of me. Danny knew I hated pictures, so I know why he took it, and I'm happy he did.

"I love you" I say smiling as I kiss his cheek. We finish up eating and lay down. I lay my head on his chest and wrap my arm around his waist. I look up at him, kissing his jawline gently. He chuckles, leading me to feel the vibration float through his chest. "What's so funny over there, Danny boy?"

"That cloud, it looks like a turtle on a rock" Danny laughs loudly. I look up toward the bright blue sky and points to the cloud he was talking about. I see it, laughing along with him.

"That one looks like a puppy with floppy ears" I giggle, pointing to the left of the sky. Danny laughs in a agreement. He looks over at me again. He kisses my head, running a finger up and down my side. He starts to toy with the waistband of my leggings.

"Danny," I gasp lightly, "we shouldn't baby, people could walk by us."

He chuckles, "I'll cover you, plus we only saw one other person and they were walking the opposite direction."
