Hazifa looked away from Ruby's face. "Nothing, Nothing special."

"If you don't want to tell anything, fine, but today is your cousin's wedding, then how did you all of a sudden come to Karachi...?"

Huzaifa took a deep breath and sat up, now with his back to Ruby. "Can't I come to see my wife?" Huzaifa asked angrily. "Do I need permission to come to see you?!

Ruby abruptly gave up her investigative style and smiled at Huzaifa's frustration."Of course, you can I'm glad to see you all of a sudden because I was missing you too. But I was surprised because you said you would come back after the wedding."Ruby spoke in her usual gentle tone and got up from there. But when she remembered something, she spoke again.

"And yes, I put your breakfast out on the dining table. Have a quick refresh and break your fast. Otherwise, it'll be cold."After saying that, she turned to the cupboard.

"Are you going out somewhere?"He couldn't soften his voice even though he wanted to.

Ruby had taken something out of the cupboard and put it in her bag. She turned to him at his question. "Yes, I have to go to Lahore for the shooting. I have a flight in an hour. If I don't leave now, I will miss the flight. Remember to have breakfast and get out of the house. Take care, bye." after putting on her high heels, she hurried out of the room.

Huzaifa didn't even get a chance to say anything and just stared at her going back. He couldn't believe it. How could she leave him in this state? And why couldn't he stop her?

He got up angrily and went to the bathroom.

"Baba, don't be angry, I'm calling him. Maybe he's late because of some work, and it's still five o'clock in the evening. It's not too late, he will come."Rabia tried to appease Mueez, who was sitting next to her, but he remained silent.

At this time Moomal, Mueez Sahib, Sughra Begum, Rabia, and Abrar were present in the room of Mueez Sahib and Sughra Begum.

When Azeem Sahib had come to inquire about Huzaifa a while ago, and when he came to know that Huzaifa was still absent, the look of despair on his face had put Mueez Sahib to shame.

At a time when all the members of the family were involved in the work here, their only son had been missing since yesterday, and his absence here on this important occasion had become an embarrassment for Mueez sahib.

"How many times have I explained to him that nothing comes before his family, but still on this important occasion he left here without telling anyone because of his useless work! He doesn't care about anything."Muez Sahib was once again showered with anger. Little Begum was confused and restless in a quiet corner.

Rabia and Abrar were constantly calling on Huzaifa's mobile, but his mobile was off.

Moomal, on one hand, in her world, was cursing herself that if she hadn't decided to go to her uncle's house, maybe everyone wouldn't be so upset today. And on other hand, she still couldn't believe that Huzaifa could be so angry with her that he left this important occasion.

It was already time, and everyone got ready and started leaving for the wedding hall. Moomal, Rabia, and the rest of her cousins were waiting for Abrar who was coming from the hall to pick them up.

They were all sitting in the living room when Huzaifa entered the house.

He was wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans. His face was flushed and looking very tired.

Seeing him coming, Rabia got up and rushed to his side."Where were you! Do you know how upset everyone was because of you? And why is your mobile switched off?! Rabia Angrily bombarded him with questions.
