Sorry for the late update, i had 7 exams to study for but it's the start of the Christmas break, and i plan on updating this book more.

Btw, without the 10 point curse i got 87% on my spanish exam. Yay me

Im writing this in my english class rn

It's the next day, and we are all at school right now. I realized that we didn't get the chance to see Alaric for the first time.... Oh well, I feel a little iffy about him because, him outside of acting is really problematic, so I just have to see if he's anything like he was in my universe.

Anyways, we all, - with an exception of damon and enzo, because they are helping harper with getting use to the new world- walk into the class, 5 minutes late, alaric stops us, and says "I didn't see any of you all yesterday, i'm your new teacher,alaric saltzman"

"Well, hello then, hopefully you are nothing like tanner" bonnie responds, and i watch the interaction closely, because in my universe, he was a rasict fuck, and i will kill him because we dont do racism over here.

"Oh no, I am nothing like him, you don't have to worry about that" He says, smiling at bonnie. Okay he doesn't seem like he is racist, but we cant be too sure, because some racists be closeted racists, but anyways.

"Well, please have a seat" he says staring at me a little too long 'wtf'

Alaric pov

As soon as I saw Elena, I knew she looked familiar. I didn't realize who she looked like until I told them to have a seat.

Isobel

She looks like Isobel

Is she related to her? Should I ask her about her?

No, that would be weird for me to ask her about Isobel.

But i need to find out

Elena pov

Throughout class, Alaric has been looking at me a little too much.

At one point, I had to look at my wrist to make sure he wasn't my mate. When the bell rang, I ran out of that class so fast, so he wouldn't try to call me to stay in there with him.

"Elena!" Kai yells, running to my locker, with the others, which is where I was.

"Why did you run out of the class?" Kai asks, confused "That teacher, alaric, kept staring at me during the whole class, so i tried to leave as quick as i could so he wouldn't try to ask for me to stay behind" i say

"I don't know, maybe i'm just overthinking" I say looking at the classroom i just came out of, to see alaric walking out, looking around and stopping his eyes on me. Kai looks to where I'm looking and see's alaric.

"C'mon, let's leave before he tries to talk to you" Caroline says, as he sees alaric walking up to us. We all walk fast to the emergency exit of the school, but not fast enough to seem suspicious. As soon as we are out of the emergency exit, I look around to make sure no one is there, then I made a portal leading to the boarding house, and we all quickly walk in, closing the portal after the last person comes through."

Alaric pov

I'm going to talk to her. I need to know if she really knows, or is related to isobel.

When the bell rings, she runs out of the classroom, and the others that came with her, run after her.

Weird

Anyways, after i made sure all the students were out of the room, i went to look for her. When I left the classroom, I looked around and I saw Elena with her friends by a locker. One of the boys, Kai, looks my way, and glares at me.

He then turns around and says something to Elena, and they all start to speed walk away. I tried following them when I saw that they went to the emergency exit, but there were a lot of students in the hallway, so when I finally made it to the exit, they were not there. I'll just go by her house and ask to talk to her.

Elena pov

We accidentally startled Damon ,Enzo and harper. "What the hell" Damon says "Sorry, we were trying to get away from the stalker teacher" I say "Whats a stalker teacher?" Harper asks, confused

"The new teacher, alaric. Damon, do you remember the lady you turned, isobel?" I asked Damon, "Yeah, what about her?" Damon asks "That lady was Alaric's wife and he knows that a vampire 'killed' his wife and he knows that they are here, so that's why he's here" i say "But why is he following you?" Stefan asks "I don't know" I say, genuinely not knowing, this didn't happen in the show.

"Maybe because Isobel is my biological mother, and I look similar to her" I say, putting the pieces together "Wait, you're adopted?!" Caroline asks, with wide eyes "That would make sense, considering you look just like Katherine, and there is no connection between the pierce and gilbert bloodline." Damon says "Petrova," I say " What?" damon asks confused

"Katherine's real name is Katerina Petrova, she isn't from a pierce bloodline" I explained to them.

"Oh, so do you think that Alaric wants to ask you about isobel?" Enzo asks "Even if he did want to talk to her, looking like a creep, and making her uncomfortable isn't the way to go" Kai says, and we all nod in agreement

Jenna pov

I'm currently at home in the kitchen looking at youtube tutorials on how to cook, when I hear a knock at the door.

I open the door to see a man that I have never seen before. "Um, can I help you?" I asked confused, "Um, yes... does Elena live here?" he asks

Why the hell would he want to know if she lives here?!

"Um, why would you need to know that?" i ask "Sorry, i'm her teacher, and i needed to ask her a question" he says, like that justifies why he is here

"Whats your name?" i ask him "I'm alaric" he responds

"Okay Alaric, that doesn't justify where you are here looking for a student, when you can talk to her at school" I say glaring at him "Can you just tell her that I need to talk to her?" he pleads "You can get off of my property is what you can do." I say closing the door, making sure to lock it.

I then call Elena so she can watch out for him.

Elena pov

I get a call from jenna I answer it and put it on speaker

"Hey aunt jenna" i say "Elena, do you have a teacher named alaric?"

I quickly look at my phone

"Yeah why" I ask, looking at everyone listening. "Well he just came by the house asking for you and said he wanted to talk to you" she says a little worried "What the hell" says "What? What's wrong?" Jenna asks "He has been staring at me all class so we left school early" i say "I knew it was something weird about him, He was almost begging me to let him talk to you?" She said "What did you say to him?"Caroline asks "I told him to get off my property" Jenna says in a duh tone "As you should" i say "I'll call you if he comes back" Jenna says "Alright, be safe jenna, love you" i say "Love you too" Jenna says, and she hangs up "Does she know about the supernatural?" Bonnie asks "No, not yet, but i'm going to tell her so she can protect herself, also, i need to make y'all other jewelry like i did with ben so people can't take them off like your rings" i say

Just as they were about to respond there was a knock on the door. Confused, I go to the door and peek out the peephole, and I internally groan and quietly run back to the living room

"Who is it?" Caroline aks

"It's alaric"
