Once the day had changed to late noon, snow flurries had begun to float down. Though everyone was still active, most were inside, hunkered down and staying away from the weather. Among those willing to brave the cold were Sanda and the Eevee. Sanda was donning a purple scarf and gloves to keep herself warm, but Eevee refused to wear one.

"Eevee, come on. You'll freeze out here." the Braixen pleaded.

The small Pokémon scowled at her. "I am n-not cold! I'm perfectly fine, m-my fur on my neck will keep me warm." He raised a paw to touch the fluffy white fur bunched all around his chest.

Sanda narrowed her eyes. "You are cold! Just listen to yourself shivering!"

Glaze walked up to the duo, carrying a small blanket and a scarf he'd gotten from Sylvey's den. Sanda's eyes brightened as she saw him, knowing she wouldn't have to argue with the obstinate Eevee anymore.

"Oh, thank you, Glaze," the Fire-type smiled, taking the items from his hand.

"Woah!" Eevee exclaimed as he saw the scarf, "Red and yellow are my favorite colors!"

Sanda wrapped the Silk Scarf around the gray Eevee's neck, then draped the blanket around him.

Glaze suddenly asked Eevee, "What's your name?"

Eevee's smile shifted to a frown, and his ears drooped. He looked up at Glaze and said, "I don't have one. I was never given one at all, and I can't think of a good one."

Glaze then began to think about the different choices, placing his hand under his chin. "What about Silver?" he asked with a small smile.

"I disagree with that one," Sanda huffed.

Glaze scratched the back of his ear, a little perplexed. "Really? I think it'd be fitting for a Shiny like him."

Eevee shouted, "I'm not a Shiny!" Both Sanda and Glaze paused and looked at him, puzzled. He regretted interrupting them, as all eyes were on him now.

The Braixen tilted her head. "What do you mean you're not a Shiny? You're the normal Shiny Eevee colors."

"No, I don't think you guys will believe me, but—I was born with barely any color, or so I've been told," Glaze stared at him with disbelief as he finished his sentence. "It's true! I can show you right now!"

Eevee quickly stood up and used Swift on the ground. He was right; the stars weren't yellow. They were a solid black color.

The Gallade looked astonished. "Wh-What? I've nev—You're not a Dark Eevee; Lunar would've said so."

Sanda suddenly shouted, which made Glaze jolt, "I'll name you Zero!"

"What?" Glaze asked. "That doesn't sound like a name for him!"

"But it's perfect! He has no color, or shall I say, 'zero' color! Besides, it's a unique and creative name too, if I do say so myself." she responded with heart. The Blade Pokémon thought for a moment. It did seem like a nice name, but it didn't fit the Eevee that well to him.

Just as Glaze was about to speak, Eevee blurted out with the biggest smile on his face, "I'll take it!"

The Gallade let out a sigh and trudged through the cold snow, having left Sanda and Zero to their own devices. He looked up, noticing Floaty and the others gathering in the middle of the town. As he headed over to investigate, Cherry caught sight of him and waved.

"Glaze! Come down!" called the Leavanny. "We're doing a snowball fight!"

They had already built two snow walls for two groups. Shine, Ridley, and Cherry were behind one wall while Lucas, Floaty, Ness, and Nina were opposing them. Glaze didn't feel too up for a silly fight like this, especially with how cold it was outside, but he didn't have the courage to turn them down. With another sigh, he nodded slightly.
