(To those who actually care about this book: Apologies for taking so long to make the second chapter. Procrastination isn't fun; it was mostly 'cause I'm trying to draw the chapter art when I don't even know how to draw ._.)

The next morning, Glaze was lying in his bed with one hand behind his head. He thought about everyone he'd met yesterday, each and every one of them. Sunlight flowed through the window and the chirps of bird Pokémon could be heard in the distance. The Shiny stared at the ceiling and his mind quickly began to wander off.

"Glaze!" The Blade Pokémon bolted up with a yelp as Floaty burst the door open. With the amount of force the Water-type used, Glaze wondered how the door didn't fly off its hinges.

He yelled back in response, "What!?" He didn't mean to shout, but at that moment, he was filled with adrenaline and couldn't control his volume.

Floaty enthusiastically ran to the side of Glaze's bed. "Lunar wants to meet you! She's outside waiting."

"Who?" The blue Gallade tilted his head.

"Lunar, our leader!" the Floatzel replied with a grin. "She heard about you and she wants to meet you. Come on!" Without waiting for a response, Floaty turned around and ran out of his room. Glaze's reaction was delayed, but he cluelessly followed the Sea Weasel outside.

As soon as the two Pokémon stepped out, Floaty slowed down a bit. "Come on." he said, looking back at Glaze.

"Where is she?" Glaze asked, cautiously trailing behind. As soon as they turned the corner, he realized the trees were blocking his view from seeing Lunar. "Oh. So she's over-"

He stopped dead in his tracks, eyes wide as he gaped at the figure before him. A tall, purple bat-like creature hovered in front of him, smiling as they saw each other. Her curved ears wrapped around her head in the shape of a crescent, and her wings were rimmed with a yellow, metal-looking material. The Pokémon's tail was also rimmed, and it extended up towards her chest. Lunar's white chest somewhat resembled a ribcage, where a soft, light blue light was radiating underneath.

"Hello, Glaze," she greeted, her voice calm and wise. "I've heard a lot about you." The Gallade couldn't even respond; he was speechless.

Floaty nudged him with his elbow, which seemed to pull Glaze out of his trance-like state. "Oh, uh, hi. I've—never seen a Pokémon like you before..."

Lunar chuckled. "I'm Lunar, the leader of Nightfall," she introduced with a smile. "I'm a Lunala from the Alola region."

"She's a Legendary Pokémon known as the beast who calls the moon," Floaty mentioned to Glaze. "Basically, she's the Pokémon of the moon. She's part Psychic like you."

Glaze nodded slightly. "Oh, yeah; I don't know much about any other regions past Kalos..."

"That's quite alright." Lunar responded, drifting over to the Shiny and looking down at him with a soft gaze.

This is him. This is the one. He looks much better in person than in my visions.

As Glaze stared into her pink eyes, he couldn't help but feel a little intimidated. He backed away, unsure of what do to. He stole a glance at Floaty, hoping he would do something, but the Sea Weasel only looked amused instead.
