Hey everyone! Welcome to the first part of hopefully a successful series! Give me any feedback you may have about it thanks in advance. Now without further delay lets get started
Lux's POV:
"I can't believe I'm late! No no I can't be late not on my first day!" I whisper yell to myself while speed walking to my class. Of course I was getting weird looks by everyone I passed in the halls. We did technically have around twenty minutes before the warning bell even rung, but I promised myself to show up early to every class in order to properly prepare for that day's lesson.
After what felt like hours she finally seen her class in sight giddy with excitement she speed up not paying attention to her surroundings and running into a certain pink haired 3rd year. Quickly Lux started blurting out apology after apology only to get stopped by a chuckle that sounded so familiar. She looked up to see her best friend's sister! Vi was kneeling right in front of her helping her pick up her books!
"Hey Luxanna long time no see. It seems you've grown but can still be an air head at times." The older girl stated while gently flicking the blonde on the forehead helping her up.
"W-Wait Vi! If you're here at my highschool...does that mean you're si- I mean Jinx is here as well?" Luxanna asked not able to contain the excitement in her voice or eyes at the thought of seeing her best friend again. Completely ignoring all the strange looks in the hall she just started at the girl waiting for an answer, yet as if her prayers have been answered they heard the maniacal laughter of a certain blue haired psycho followed by screaming of guys running down the hall.
"W-We're sorry! Please just don't hurt us we'll leave you alone!" The leader of the group screamed while running past the two girls bruises evident on his face while he held his hand. Lux got a quick look and some of his fingers looked like they were bending the wrong way. "Awww but come on you guys were the one tryin get my number right? I was just showing you what the price of getting that information was..." The blue haired monster stated her grin widening as she skipped down the wall spotting her sister.
Once she took notice she ran over to Vi and wrapped her arms around her "Vi! How is everything going?!" Jinx asked talking obnoxiously loud while looking up "Who are you tal...king to..." She said while looking over her sister's shoulder growing quiet seeing Lux standing there sheepishly playing with her hands "H-Hi again Jinx..its been a.." The bright girl got cut off getting engulfed in a bear hug by the crazy girl. The sudden rush of Jinx's familiar gunpowder smell with a tiny hint of her strawberry perfume which was probably stolen from a store.
Breaking out of the death grip Jinx calls a hug Crownguard looked down at her best friend the smile growing on her face by the second "I've missed you so much Jinx! What are you two doing here I thought you moved back to Zaun!" Lux stated the surprise evident in her voice. She never was good at hiding her emotions though she didn't mind never having a problem wearing her heart on her sleeve especially around Jinx who could care less how Lux acted it was always a nice change of pace from her strict family where she had to be high and proper. While waiting for the shorter girl to answer Lux heard the bell go off and suddenly remembered her promise to herself "Oh no! Sorry Jinx we can talk later I gotta get to class I-I'll see you at lunch does that sound good?" She quickly asked while running inside the door not waiting for an answer. Not like she needed one she knew Jinx would see her again its like she had a Luxy-Poo radar built in which could always fine the light girl especially if that light filled smile starts to fade Jinx is always the first one to make her feel alright again.
Lux smiled to herself thinking back to all the times Jinx made her smile again and thought to the future of what seeing her best friend could unfold for them and what kinda of adventures they would go on and possibly what trouble Jinx would force the girl to get into. Yep this is going to be a crazy year and she was looking forward to it.
