Chapter 8

Hey ya'll quicky recap Jinx finally confessed though Lux wasn't given a chance to give her answer back before her brain friend while trying to process everything that's happened in that one day. What will happen back at school? Will they manage to fix things between each other? Will Ezreal ever get that piece of popcorn out of his gums? Find out now in this chapter! 

Jinx's POV:

"Oh my god! Oh my god!" Jinx was screaming while pacing back and forth in her room dreading today since she has to go back to school and possibly face Lux the same girl she confessed her feelings too just two days ago "Ugh why did I have to listen to Vi? I should have at least waited for an answer to calm some dread I have.." She complained to herself while grabbing her school bag and heading out the front door with Vi tagging along gently punching her in the shoulder "Why ya looking so down Crazy?" She questioned while looking down at her sister in confusion "Oooh yeah you actually listened to me and told that Luxy girl how ya felt" Vi remembered laughing again at how embarrassed her sister was "Man I didn't think you'd actually listen I was just fuckin with ya Jinx." She added while patting Jinx's head only causing her to mope more. Ever since that day she's been under the weather ignoring all of Lux's calls and messages most of them asking if she felt okay and where she was. Of course Jinx knew they didn't mean anything special it was just Lux being a worry wart she'd be that way to anyone it didn't make Jinx feel any special especially since with every message she just thought about what she could possibly be texting Ezreal about.

She hated him with a passion and she made it her mission to show Lux that he was just using her no matter if it completely ruins their friendship she didn't plan on letting anyone use Lux like that ever. Yet first she had to try and manage not seeing said girl as to not put her heart into any more stress. After a little while of walking Vi looked down at her phone and stopped "Hey Crazy, Cupcake just texted me asking if she left one of her books back at our house when she was studying. Think you'll be okay heading to school alone from here?" She asked while she was already back peddling towards the house Jinx just gave a simple nod not stopping she knew Vi would go back regardless 'anything for her little cupcake' is what Jinx likes to think in order to mess with her sister but she wasn't in the mood as she continue the trek towards school alone now.

At least she wasn't alone for long since she felt a sudden hug from behind causing her to freeze and tense up a bit about to turn around and swing "Wait wait Jinx! Its just me relax." The blonde said with her cheeks rosy red and panting a bit having to run in order to catch up to her friend "I've been calling you for at least five minutes you passed my house without even realizing it." She explained while letting her friend go which didn't help ease any of the tension. This just wasn't gonna be Jinx's day she already ran into the one person she was trying to avoid "Yeah..sorry about that just zoned out." Jinx said in a monotone voice while looking at the ground kicking a few loose pebbles not wanting to make eye contact already feeling her cheeks get set ablaze her confession being the only thing she's able to focus on "A-Anyways I gotta run got uhh some stuff to do at school.." She lied not even trying to hide the fact before turning around and about to start running before feeling a hand grab onto hers tight "Wait Jinx! I gave what you said some thought...and I want to believe you I really do." Luxanna stated while slowly walking up to the girl still keeping a grip on Jinx's hand "Please, lets talk this out I've been so worried about you since you haven't been answering my calls or text I even tried calling Vi and she told me you locked yourself up in your room and barely at this whole time." The blonde said while slowly embracing the blue hair girl "Please Jinx...I don't wanna lose you over a boy." She added.

Jinx just stood there stunned she wasn't expecting this kind of reaction especially not after she randomly confessed but she didn't care she missed her friend deeply she returned the embrace and placed her head into the crook of Lux's taking in her warmth and smell she missed dearly "I missed you too I just thought you'd hate me after what I did and said.." She explained while looking up at her crush seeing her smile which only caused the loose cannon to blush more. After awhile Lux eventually broke the hold and looked down at her friend "Umm yeah about what you said..did you mean it? Like really mean it?" She questioned her face burning up as well as her heart started to beat faster at the thought "I mean hopefully you do Jinx because well because I do as well." The Crownguard said sheepishly while looking down. With a surge of confidence hearing her crush return her feelings  Jinx stood up straighter "D-Damn straight I did! I meant every damn thing I said Lux! I have a massive crush on you!" She exclaimed her face burning red as she confessed yet again trying her hardest not to run and hide and to ignore her inner demons telling her how stupid she was for saying that again and that Lux was just going to laugh at her and that there was no way someone as pretty as Lux who could have any man in the world would be interested in a girl. With all these thoughts her confidence started dwindling especially since Lux was saying anything but only grew redder in the face. 

Eventually it happened all at once and she felt Lux's lips on hers causing her eyes to grow wide before slowly easing into the kiss as their tongues started to dance together only breaking it off so they could both breath as the looked into each other's eyes Jinx giggling at first slowly going into her normal insane laughter "So Luxy-Poo does this mean that we're together?!" She questioned while hugging her crush tightly "Y-Yes I believe it does if you want to that is I can understand if you're rethinking your original confession." Lux said only to feel a quick kiss on her lips again "No I want you and only you understood?!" Jinx stated while grabbing her new girlfriend's hand entwining their fingers together smiling ear to ear as they made their way to school together as a new couple 

Welp hopefully that didn't seem to forced I think it was pretty way to ease them into a relationship but will it last? Who possibly knows..wait I do obviously I'm the motherfuckin author of this story so I know everything that's gonna happen (Not really) but besides the point!
