Chapter 2

Hey everyone here comes chapter 2! A small recap Lux just got reunited with her best friend Jinx and made plans to see each other during lunch before she bolted off to class! Caught up? To bad here we go!

Jinx's POV:

 There Jinx was actually attending her math class..well maybe attending is stretching it sure she was physically there but mentally the loose cannon was far away thinking about how much longer until she had lunch and when school was out. Mostly lunch though not being able to wait to see Flashlight again she certainly grew up when they last saw each other, Just thinking about her caused Jinx's cheeks to burn up a bit she never even knew why but recently just the thought of that bright girl made a knot form in Jinx's stomach and lose what little train of thought she had. Obviously she went to her big sister about it hell she even went to Caitlyn for help but they both said the same thing about having a crush on her.

She should have known they wouldn't be helpful they only say that cause they're dating and enjoy rubbing it in. There was no way her of all people could have a crush and even if she did its not like she stood much of a chance of getting with Lux she was just too perfect, too pretty, & too kind. Just everything Jinx wasn't and never could be she was a delinquent, a hyperactive trouble maker who wouldn't get anywhere in life. 

Sighing to herself she just laid her head down on the desk looking out the window occasionally looking at the clock "Just a few more minutes...then I can see my little flashlight" she said to herself a smile creeping onto her face thinking about the girl.

-After Class-  

Running to the same class Lux ran into before they parted way ignoring the teacher's yelling to get back and that the bell doesn't dismiss them he does. Jinx was hoping to catch Lux before she made her way to the cafeteria wanting as much time as possible to talk to her friend, as if right on queue the blonde turned the corner and smiled as soon as she noticed Jinx and gave a slight wave that made the loose cannon's heart skip a beat.

"Hi Jinx, you ready to go to lunch? I'm starving." The girl said while walking up to the dumbfounded girl "W-What yeah of course I'm ready lets go!" Jinx said catching herself from stuttering anymore. It wasn't like her to stutter its just Lux why was she getting so nervous, thinking back she blamed Vi and Caitlyn for getting the thought of this crush inside her head. That had to be the reason give it a few days it should die down and everything should go back to normal. At least that's what she kept telling herself

"Jinx..hello Jinx are ya there?" Lux asked while waving a hand in front of her friend's face snapping her back to reality "What? Yeah sorry I spaced out nothing new." Jinx stated giving a quick chuckle before walking towards the cafeteria humming to herself moving to the beat of whatever song was currently stuck in her head causing Lux to giggle and walk alongside her in comfortable silence.

Once they arrived at the cafeteria all the sound hit them at once as students were talking over each other trying to hear their friends. The two girls just ignored the commotion and got in line waiting for their food before a blonde guy got shoved into Lux by his friends "S-Sorry about that my friends and I were just horseplay are you alright?" The kid asked while extending his hand in apologize with the other rubbing the back of his neck clearly embarrassed "Oh yes I'm alright thank you I'm Lux and this is my friend Jinx." Flashlight stated taking the boy's hand smiling at him which caused him to blush "Y-Yeah and I'm Ezreal pleasure to meet both of you...about my friends uhh they actually did it to make me talk to you." He stated sheepishly while looking down getting a sudden interested of the floor "I..I think you're really cute and would like to be your friend if at all possible." he suddenly blurted out. After a moment of silence Jinx just rolled her eyes getting a nasty feeling in her stomach hearing someone else call her friend cute "Yes! Of course I'd love to be your friend!" She heard Lux say with pure joy and her cheeks flushed out of embarrassment because of the compliment.

"Really? Great maybe we can have lunch together then and get to know one another better?" Ezreal suggested while looking back at the girl with a grin on his face clearly getting his confidence back from not being rejected. Jinx just gave an audible sigh to show the two that she was still there and to stop whatever mushy stuff they were doing, this seemed to have brought Lux back to reality "Oh..I'm sorry I'm having lunch with my friend who I haven't seen in forever maybe some..." Lux got cut off by Jinx "She would love to she was always blabbering about how she wanted to make more friends." The crazy one stated while pushing Lux towards Ezreal "I'll talk to you later I'm not that hungry anyways see you around...love birds." She added while walking away hating herself for saying that last bit she didn't think it'd hurt but even teasing the fact that Luxanna could get with someone hurt more than she imaged. When she suddenly realized where she was going she ended up in the restroom and that's when the tears started to fall at first it was just one followed by two more than the dam broke as she ran into the nearest stall and let the waterworks empty themselves. After awhile she eventually calmed down still hiccupping and stifling with some tears still threatening to fall she thought back to the last time she bawled her eyes out like this..funnily enough it was when she first had to leave Lux how ironic both times she had a break down like this is involved that girl the one she cherished more than even herself...maybe Vi and Caitlyn where onto something after all...

Bada bing bada boom Chapter 2 is now over and done and I am wondering how'd I do? I may post one more by tonight possibly.
