Chapter 5

Hey everyone! Recap time woo! We had Ezreal bragging to his friends how he was getting to see Lux tomorrow and we actually had a nice bonding time between Jinx and Caitlyn where she was actually given advice on how to deal with her emotions! Now lets continue on recap is over sucks to suck!

Jinx's POV:

Jinx was already getting ready for the day just finishing braiding her hair she decided to just wear something casual choosing a pink crop top with darker strips going through it with black skinny jeans and her combat boots. While she was finishing up and about to grab her phone she noticed Lux calling her and picked up "H-Hey Flashlight what's up?!" The blue hair girl exclaimed her heart filling with joy about getting to hear Lux's voice "Hi Jinx, I need your help with something." Her friend explained the whole situation about seeing Ezreal today and how she was nervous. Yet the loose cannon was feeling something other than joy for her friend she hated this feeling it was eating at her insides hurting, afterwards once she was done explaining all Jinx manage to let out was a simple uh huh not sure how to really response. 

It sounded like this Ezreal guy made her friend really happy and before she could stop herself she just agreed to help forcing herself to sound cheerful and excited as to not worry her friend "Where are you guys meeting up anyways?" Jinx asked out of curiosity while she began her trek towards the shopping center in town enjoying the peacefulness she felt that was being ruined by that gnawing feeling in her stomach at just the thought of Lux being with someone else "Oh we're meeting a café in the shopping center that he told me about. What about you I hear cars driving on your end?" Luxanna questioned as she was giving one last look of her outfit which was just a simple white dress and heels. 

The thought of running into those two spiked into the girl's mind searing the thought of seeing them laughing and happy together again made her heart sink more "I'm...heading to the shopping center as well. Caitlyn gave me a suggestion on how to do something I've been struggling with so I'm gonna see if it works." The blue haired girl answered with her shoulders suddenly slumping "B-But I'm already here so I'll have to call you later just text me what you need help with when ya need it Luxy-Poo, honestly though just be yourself he seems to like you for you..not that I blame him you are one of a kind." She quickly added before hanging up the phone not wanting to hear what her friend had to say. Shaking the thought of them together Jinx sped up her pace wanting to get in an out of the area as soon as humanly possible.

As she was making her way to the store she always buys art materials from she heard a familiar loud obnoxious voice "Yeah I'll prove to you all that Lux likes me and once she's mine I'll just get even more bragging rights over ya'll." He exclaimed while Jinx peeked around the corner looking at him standing there with his weight on one leg showing off his signature grin. He was wearing a plain white t-shirt with a bomber jacket and ripped blue jeans and yellow converse that were worn out "Besides something else that's an added plus if I start dating little miss goody two shoes is that her parent's are loaded so I'm sure she has some spare pocket changes laying around if you know what I mean." Ezreal stated his smirk growing. Which was quickly replaced with pure shock as he realized he was on the floor getting straddled by a lunatic "Don't you dare talk that way about my Flashlight every again!" Jinx screamed while she frantically started hitting the boy over and over again his "friends" quickly abandoning him the moment the lunatic showed up "J-Jinx! What are you doing?! Get off him!" Her friend exclaimed while grabbing Jinx and pulling her off the boy. Jinx offered little resistance as she already exerted so much energy beating the blonde boy to a pulp "She's crazy! She just started attacking me out of no where, you're lucky I won't press charges since you're Lux's friend!" The boy stated with his face still showered in fear but his eyes gleaming with venom and arrogance taunting her "Luxanna! Please you have to listen to me he isn't worth the dirt we walk on he's deceiving you!" Jinx pleaded turning her attention towards her friend who looked back towards the boy with a busted lip and bloody nose "Jinx you have to apologize to him no one deserve that why did you even do it to him?" She questioned stepping back from her blue hair friend, who just stood up looking devastated as if she just got crushed. She kept opening her mouth but nothing came out not even a peep eventually she just shoved past her supposed friend and ran home the tears leaving a trail behind her "Stupid Lux! Stupid Ezreal! Stupid stupid stupid!" Was all she managed to say between sobs before she burst through the door and straight into Vander hugging him tightly crying into his chest. The older man sat there confused for a bit before gently patting the girl's head and wrapping his arms around her "Hey there kiddo what's the matter?" He asked while gently breaking the embrace to look at his youngest daughter "S-Stupid Lux..s-she didn't b-believe me when I t-told her I was t-trying to defend her..." The youngest hiccupped while wiping away her tears with both hands "The guy she's h-hanging out w-with i-is just u-using her f-for her m-money I heard him talking a-about it to h-his friends..so I b-beat him t-to a p-pulp like V-Vi taught me too." She added while glancing up at the older man she knew that he didn't like violence unless completely necessary.

Instead though she seen him looking down at her with nothing but that normal proud look in his eyes and a huge grin on his face "Atta girl! Don't worry I'll let it slide this time since you were just doing it for your friend I understand where you're coming from." He stated patting her head before getting up and pouring her a cup of strawberry milk "Don't fret too much about Lux she'll come around eventually and if she doesn't then well...its really her loss you're an amazing girl who cares deeply about her friends" Vander added sliding her the cup and planting a small kiss on her forehead "Everything always works out in the end for good people alright?" The older man said while sitting down next to the girl waiting for her to vent which instead she just started laughing. Quietly at first and eventually back to her normal loud lunatic laugh showing that everything is alright well at least to Vander it seemed that way but deep down she was crying about this pain about why Lux would suddenly trust a random stranger over her own friend someone who's always been by her side. Hopefully Vander is right and hopefully she'll get that notebook soon realizing she forgot to get it since of the incident.

Welp chapter 5 is officially done and I'm glad Vander is alive and healthy it was conflicting if I wanted to add him or not since...well if ya know ya know right? But anyways I'll start working on Chapter 6 please don't kill me.
