Chapter 3

Hey everyone its your favorite time of the story! Small recap time..what you don't like it? To bad you're getting it. Recap: Jinx and Lux finally got time to talk to one another until Ezreal decided he wanted to enter Lux's life. Recap over to bad deal with it time to tell the story!

Jinx's POV:

Finally hearing the bell that signified lunch was over Jinx left her hiding spot in the stall and looked at herself in the mirror her eyes were red and puffy which showed dramatically on her pale skin. Sighing to herself she started splashing water on her face and looked back up only this time she wasn't alone her demons were standing over her with mocking grins "You know she likes that boy." One of them said this one a dark shade of blue taking the figure of a skinny lengthy boy "Oh hundred perfect I mean you see how she was blushing with a simple compliment." The other said being a little bit on the heavier side and a red shade "She could never like someone like you..." The said in unison their faces twisting into maniacal grins as they continue to torment her and berate her. Jinx's only defense when this happen was drive herself into the nearest corner and clutch her head with her eyes squeezed shut "Stop it! Shut up! She doesn't like him they just met! That's impossible she's mine!" Jinx screamed at the voices trying her hardest to tune them out.

Out of no where she felt arms wrap around her and squeeze her tightly "Hey..Pow..Jinx calm down they aren't real just relax." It was her sister's voice trying to sooth her while stroking her hair gently. After regaining herself and having the demons no longer around she clung to her sister and held herself back from crying again "T-They came back.." The blue haired girl hiccupped while trying to bring her sister closer. Eventually they switched spots and Vi set Jinx in her lap letting the Jinx's head rest on her shoulder still stroking her hair "I know I heard you from the hallway yelling at them. Do you wanna talk about it? Your therapist said it would help..." The older girl suggested still feeling awkward about having to comfort someone but she always tried with her sister, but only got her to shake her head "Not this time...its kinda personal." Jinx stated the embarrassment creeping onto her face while sighing to herself and pushing herself out of Vi's grip "Thanks Vi..but we better head to class don't wanna be late right..?" Jinx gave a humorless chuckle while making her way out of the restroom with her hands in her pocket and strolled to her next class not like she wanted to be there but anything was a better distraction since she didn't have any of her normal ways readily available.

-After School-  

Lux's POV:

She felt really bad about leaving her best friend to hang out with a guy she just met, but she had a blast talking to Ezreal and getting to know him. Though most of the conversation her face was ablaze with embarrassment that was the first time she talked to a boy by herself, maybe talking as stretching it she was mostly a blubbering mess. It was at that moment she realized how badly she needed Jinx in her life she was always doing the talking for them and protecting the shy blonde from awkward conversations like the one she just had. Yet Ezreal was patient with her when she was fumbling over her words like a girl talking to a middle school crush. Lux was pulled back from her thoughts of her earlier conversation by seeing the back of her best friend's head. 

Quickly running up and hugging Jinx from behind she was surprised to see how quickly usual carefree friend tensed up from the surprise affection "Are you alright Jinx?" Luxanna asked concern evident in her voice while her blue haired friend just nodded staying uncharacteristically quite which only worried Lux more. Eventually they just started walking next to each other with the awkward silence looming over them then all at once it hit Lux she started to remember when Lux was like this the day she had to leave. With that memory in mind Lux started repeating the process from years ago slowly grabbing Jinx's hand and bringing her closer and guiding the gloomy girl into her arms and wrapping her in a slow embrace and began humming nothing in particular rubbing small circles on Jinx's lower back.

"Luxy-poo...I don't wanna talk about it Vi already tried..." The somber girl stated while wrapping her arms around her friend causing Luxanna to giggle slightly "That's fine we don't have to I understand." She replied as she began humming again causing Jinx to slowly to loosen up and chuckle slightly while breaking away from the hold regardless of how much she didn't want too "Thanks flashlight." Jinx said while looking into those crystal blue eyes while her cheeks grew redder by the second before breaking eye contact and looking around "W-Wow! Look at the time we really should be heading home right? You're parents are probably worried!" The blue haired girl exclaimed while turning on her heels while laughing manically causing the Crownguard to stand their dumbfounded before catching up "Jinx! What's the matter are you sick? Your cheeks were really red!" She stated while stepping in front of her friend their faces inches from each other causing the blue haired girl to grow redder in the face "No! No! I'm not sick I'm all good!" The loose cannon stated while covering her face with her arms "Just..its really hot out that's all!" She added quickly while side stepping around her bright friend.

After awhile of walking they eventually made it to Lux's mansion gate the awkwardness still glooming over them they haven't talked barely any form of conversation that flashlight tried was quickly shut down by her friend which only worried Lux more without making any progress she just sighed and patted Jinx's head "Look I always promise not to pry into your business since I know you won't do the same...but I hate seeing you like this so tell me what's wrong. Please for me?" The blonde pleaded with the best puppy eyes she could muster. This only caused the crazy one to get embarrassed while rubbing her arm "Alriiight fine just stop with the puppy eyes!" She exclaimed while taking a deep sigh to calm herself "I..I didn't like you talking to Ezreal and once I left the...the voices came back to taunt me..." She explained while looking down. She hated talking about the voices no one besides her family ever believed her so she usually just held it in. After a moment of silence Jinx looked up at her friend expecting to see her trying to not laugh like the rest, but instead she noticed her on the verge of tears "Woah woah Luxy-poo relax don't cry its fine please just don't cry you're too cute for that." Jinx said while grabbing the blonde's hand "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm suppose to be helping you yet hearing that.. it makes me sad I didn't realize you were feeling that way I promise nothing will ever separate me from you, you're my best friend Jinx." Lux stated proudly while looking at the girl smile at her words "Yeah..you would be pretty clueless without me around wouldn't ya?" Jinx stated her usual grin appearing on her face while she stood straighter crossing her arms to hype herself up.

"Well I guess I finished my mission and brought you home so I'll let ya go since I'm no longer a bawling mess." She added after  laughing a bit to herself and only getting Lux to agree and waved bye while heading inside not before watching Jinx dance off humming to herself which caused Lux to giggle to herself realizing all of Jinx's little habits are cute.

Holy this is hot garbage hopefully ya'll enjoyed it I'll try working on Chapter 4 asap so don't kill me if you guys are actually enjoying it.
