"I always promised you to stay by your side. Please, just for once, promise me too"
As they arrived the hospital and got sent from one place to other, they finally found a nurse who told them the number of Dream's room.
George would have gone crazy, if she hadn't been there to tell them the number.
"Sapnap, faster", George pulled the others hand and was racing through the hallways, almost leaving the other one behind.
Even though Nick was way more sporty than George, he was behind all of the time, being surpised about the other ones stamina.
As they finally stood in front of the right door, were Dream supposedly was behind, they stopped for a moment.
George took, along with Sapnap, a deep breath.
Right before they were about to enter the room, Nick's phone started ringing.
He pulled it out and after he fastly read the name he looked at the brunette.
"It's Karl... Is it okay if I come afterwards?", he gave him an apologetic look.
"You like him, do you?", George grinned and teased the other one, which looked away embarrassed.
The brunette just nodded afterwards and the smaller one whispered a thank you, before heading somewhere else.
'Okay, alone then...', George took a deep breath and opened the door, hoping to find Dream in there.
He walked into the fully white room slowly and looked at the left side for a short moment, finding out that this room was probably a room with two beds.
And as he thought that, he looked to the other side too, seeing another bed.
Unlike the other one at the left side, this one had a person on it, cuddled deep under the blankets.
George mustered the scene as he slowly put a few steps forwards.
The boy laying in front of the brunette had his hands outside the blanket, right next to his body.
There were a few strings attached to a machine next to him, but the room was silent, besides a small radio which was on.
It was barely hearable though, but George didn't feel listen to music right now anyways.
The blonde hair of the boy was messy and slightly wet, a few strings were hanging right into his face.
His eyes were shut and he looked like he was sleeping peaceful on there.
George smiled weakly.
He moved closer to his soulmate and sat down right next to him, trying not to unplug any important strings while doing so.
The matress was comfy and the blanket really soft.
George slowly put the strands of hair behind his boyfriend's ears and felt the warmth of his body laying in his cold fingers.
