///Melissa POV//
“He WHAT!” I shouted as I grabbed O’Felia by the shirt. “He risked his life just to bring her back!”
“Yeah…he tried. It’s a challenge that not many can do…to defeat the Grim Reaper; you have one reward or a wish. I guess he won and wanted to wish Liz Beth back. But even I knew that you can’t bring people back from the dead. So as a reward, he gave Death the Dark Scythe instead.” She told me.
“So after that…he found Zeya and came back.” I concluded and she nodded. I wiped away my tears and felt very bad for Death. “What was Death weapon before the scythe?”
“It was that big-ass sword you have. If he gave it to you, I guess he thinks you look hot with it or something.” I blushed when she said that. She noticed and grinned. “That’s the case, isn’t it? Hmm…you and Death had any fun last night?”
“What! W-Why are y-you…why are you asking that?!” I blushed furiously.
“I knew it! You two had se-“ I covered her mouth before she can finish.
“D-D-D-DON’T SAY THAT OUT LOUD!” I freaked out. She nodded and I let go. She stretched her arms and smiled.
“Come on…” she motioned me to follow her.
“Hey wait.” I stopped her. “Why are you even here?”
“Death sent me to get you. And that chick you ran away-“
“Melissa!” I looked over O’Felia shoulder to see Anna running towards me. She stopped a few feet away from me and looked at me. “There you are! And hey…who’s that?”
“Anna, this is my best friend, O’Felia.” I turned O’Felia around to greet her and she said hi.
“Uh…hello.” Anna replied and she looked at me. “Is she like you?”
“Yeah…she’s a Re-Demon too. But she different from me, she can heal others and herself. And she can sort of communicate with animals. But beware!” I warned her as I struggled not to laugh.
“Huh? Why?” she asked me. I quickly grabbed hold of O’Felia and she shrieked.
“She Ticklish!” I screamed as I began to tickle her.
“S-Stop it!” she laughed as she struggled to escape but I wouldn’t let go.
“Uh…girls. Stop acting like idiots.” Anna spoiled our fun.
“Ok…” I let go of O’Felia.
After that, O’Felia took us to where she said Death and my father was. It was a long walk due to a hundred people crowding around the streets. A hour later, I understood why, the mayor was about to give a speech to the people of the city. I looked around for Death but I couldn’t see him. Anna found her husband and embraced him in a hug. I then felt someone tap my shoulder and I turned around quickly to see my father standing there with a smile. He wore a tuxedo that was dark red and a black tie.
“Wow Dad!” I exclaimed. “You look fancy!”
“Thank you!” he shouted due to people shouting around us. I smiled and hugged him. I looked up to him and asked him where Death was.
“Do you know where Death is?” I asked him.
“He’s here, he is waiting for the right time to jump in to talk to the mayor-“
“I going too.” I told him.
“Melissa, no. Death told me that to keep you out of harm’s way just in case-“I stopped him again.
