A couple of weeks had passed since Frank and Nancy were released from the hospital. Joe had decided to stay behind until Frank was ok to fly and Nancy didn't mind hosting both the Hardy Boys to make up for all the time they had missed over the years.

Currently they were watching the show Castle for the third day in a row. At 7am, they would wake up, go for a walk and grab coffee at the local cafe then get back to the apartment at 9am to watch anything until 2pm when they would go on another walk, get back and cook dinner and catch up on other things. Maybe clean a little, start a new hobby, continue another hobby or Nancy's favourite, listening to ABBA.

This day was like no other. They had finally finished season 3 and were about to start the next but not before Joe had turned to the couple and looked at them quizzically.

'What're thinking about there little brother?' Frank had his arm around Nancy's shoulders as she in turn was leaning into him. Joe was across from them on a seperate arm chair.

'Do you think when you guys have kids, they'll turn out like Alexis?' Joe, in no way was trying to throw them off guard and was being completely serious. Frank and Nancy look at each other and smile.

'I think they will. Maybe one or two of them will have strawberry or strawberry brownish hair. The other one will have thick brown hair.' She started playing with Frank's hair, brushing it out of his eyes.

'You know, strawberry hair is a recessive gene?' He added, 'besides when did we decide 3 kids? I thought it was only 2? No you know what, I wouldn't mind another kid running around.' Frank kissed her forehead.

'Big bro you forget, I still turned out blonde,'

'And I came out strawberry red,'

'When only of one our parents had the recessive gene,' Nancy and Joe turned to each other and gave the other finger guns. 'You realise that you two will have the most stubborn kids right?' The look that the couple gave a look that could only be described as 'I know.' Without realising it, they went on to talk about Frank and Nancy's future and how Joe would fit into it (even though it wouldn't be hard to fit Joe into it. They had already planned to open up a P.I. Agency together in New York). This somehow didn't surprise any of them that they had planned their future. Admittedly, they knew deep down that they would have some sort of entwined future; that it would somehow all interlock and thankfully, it did. In a sad and twisted way of fate.

Present Day

(4 months since the accident, 6 weeks since the Hardy Boys had left River Heights)

It was finally, finally Frank's birthday. Well, it was the day before Frank's birthday but Nancy was arriving at 6:50am (to go over last minute birthday plans with Laura and to spend as much time with the birthday boy before his attention was spread thin).

Frank was waiting anxiously at the terminal, waiting for her red hair to come through the doors. He had gone over the details over and over again to make sure she was actually coming and he'd be able to see her face again. It's alright, he'd thought to himself, she'll be here soon. I should grab some coffee, she'd definitely need it, i sure as hell do. Grabbing two extra-large flat whites with one sugar. Picking up the pace, he essentially sprinted back to the terminal and saw the red hair he was looking for.

'Nancy!' Frank yelled. She heard the deep voice and started pacing towards it.

'Frank!' She yelled back. At this point, Nancy's pacing turned into a full sprint. Frank put the coffee's onto the chair he was sitting on and braced himself for his girlfriend to almost tackle him to the ground. She leapt and wrapped her legs around his waist, he wrapped one arm under her butt to support her up and the other around her back to pull her closer to him.
