Leonard
"Where are you going?" Andrew hurriedly got up and pulled me by my arms, "we're almost done Leo, don't you dare screw this" he warned me but I think he's forgetting something.
I don't take orders, I unhand myself from his hold and threw a punch at his face. "Stay here and get the chip, I need to go" I bang my hand against the picture telling him to grasp the situation.
He looks at the picture while covering his nose, "holy fuck"
"I'm leaving you in charge, take care of this and safely board the flight with the chip, I'm leaving"
He wipes his blood and pats my shoulder asking me to hurry, "and my father knows about the situation, he's covering the deal so fly it to him"
I ran down the entrance and exited the building instructing my people to follow Andrew and board out before midnight.
I get inside the car and quickly drove to the airport, messaging Nil my private pilot, on the way to get the plane ready. I take this chance and dialed Veronica's number but as expected it went straight to voicemail.
I'm seriously not liking this, if the Vikings even dared to hurt her then there will blood bath this time in the face of war. They shouldn't have included Veronica in this, and now with the slightest hint of her being stuck with them, scares me.
I can't afford to lose her now, she became too important in my world and of all things I want to give her, this is the least I wished for her. My world always has this sick audacity to ruin all the precious goodly of my life.
But this time would be different, I'm not letting fucking so-called world of mine take something from me again. This time I'll end everything, even the shadows of my world will need to beg me if they even got a scratch on Veronica.
I hurried my way through the traffic and boarded the plane, it's an eleven-hour flight from France to new york but as far as I know, they will not be in New York.
The Viking surely had taken Veronica to Rome with the hope of getting their people back which I have captured far long.
That might be the turning point for me cause the flight to Rome is only an hour, giving me enough to prepare the worst for the people who touched my woman.

VeronicaI was waking up with the worst headache of my life. The back of my head was bleeding with the friction of the hardwood that hit my head back in the parking lot.
I tried to swing my hand but the violent screams of the cuff rasping together against the metal told me I was tied to a pipe.
I lift my head and blurry vision of what looked like an abandoned basement was coming clear. I struggled out the cuffs except the edges were so sharp my wrist started to get red.
"Well, well, well" a throaty voice greeted the silent atmosphere, "look who's up" the voice got closer and if I said I wasn't scared before then his voice is definitely the reason I panicking my pants up.
"The famous Veronica Matthews is here people" he claps at my name and gives a dramatic expression of realization " sorry not Matthews"
A man probably in his mid-forties enters the room and scans me from head to toe, beside him stood what seemed like his bodyguard much muscular than him, maintained his eye contact on me,
"It's Walker, my bad. The daughter of the famous cop Josh Walker who died saving a civilian" he bends down, lust dripping in his eyes as he grabs my hair and brings my face closer to his, "even without a father you turned out to be fine, I wonder why Nicole had to dirty her hands for you"
