Easy Tests and Sarah's Date

   With their plan set the team all went their own separate ways. Sasuko and Sakura headed into the woods in opposite direction, while Naruto headed straight towards Kakashi.
 
   Only a couple of moments past before Naruto was stood before Kakashi, one finger raised to point at the older ninja accusingly.
 
“Alright old man! Let’s go, you and me, fair and square!” Naruto shouted with a slight growl to his voice.
 
   Kakashi lazily tilted his head towards the younger ninja. His disinterest evident in his visible eye. “You know, compared to the others…” he paused as he turned more towards the smaller ninja. “you’re a little weird.”
 
 "The only thing weird here is your haircut!” Naruto shouted as he brought his hands up to his chest.
 
   Kakashi barely acknowledged Naruto’s hands. He had already heard the rumors so he chose to ignore him instead.  Pulling out his make out paradise book and abruptly burying his face between the pages.
 
 “Don’t underestimate me old man!” Naruto's hands quickly flew through the hand signs for his shadow clones and Kakashi was suddenly surrounded by at least  20 shadow clones.
 
   All of the clones launched themselves into the air and straight for the Junín. Latching themselves onto different parts of his body before all being thrown off. Only one remained attached to his back in a very awkward headlock.
 
 
   The thrown clones all popped out of existence in a puff of smoke as they hit the ground. The number of clones already reduced by over half as some even landed in the small man made fishing pond nearby. Kakashi had taken that moment to grab the clone from his back with both hands and throw it harshly to the ground where it disappeared in yet another puff of smoke.
 
 
   Only four clones remained standing before Kakashi along with the real Naruto.
 
“You tend to just barrel into things without planning ahead don’t you?” Kakashi asked boredly.
 
   Naruto simply gave a childish laugh right before two hands shot from the ground and grabbed Kakashi’s ankles.  The underground clone actually catching Kakashi off guard momentarily. But the surprise was short lived as the clone lacked the strength to do more than hold on tight.
 
   Before he hand a chance to even make a witty remark Kakashi was swiftly encased up to his neck in solid rock. Needless to say he was surprised when he tilted his head to find Sakura standing there with her hands to her chest, having just done the hand signs for Kakashi’s rock prison.
 
“Very clever you two, but I’m afraid this isn’t-" Kakashi abruptly stopped his sentence as he felt the snap against his waistline. 
 
   The Junín’s rock prison suddenly exploding  as what he had believed to be a clone that had his ankles turned out to be Sasuko.  She had grabbed the bells as soon as he was distracted and then made her escape to retreat back to her team mates.
 
 
   The older ninja stood there in complete shock as Sasuko handed off the bells to her two teammates.  The two of them where cheering happily  as they accepted the bells.
 
“If I have to return to school then so be it, but these two deserve a break.” Sasuko said, which earned her sounds of protest from her two team mates.
 
“Well, I’m not going to lie.” Kakashi rolled his shoulders as he spoke. “This was the fastest any team has ever passed the bell test.”
 
   The team all high-fived happily at his praise.
 
“Also, I know a good team leader when I see one.” The older ninja had his one visible eye closed in a way you could tell he was smiling. “so, none of you will be going back to school. You all pass!”
 
 
   Team seven all jumped and clapped excitedly, Naruto throwing his fist in the air in excitement as the two girls hugged each other and then tackled him to the ground in a surprise hug.

   Sasuko woke up the next morning with a smile on her face. Her henge as Sasuke was up as she threw her clothes on and headed towards her kitchen.
 
   The raven haired beauty had planned on making herself a big healthy breakfast but the sound of knocking at her front door interrupted her before she could get started. She shrugged to herself and made her way to the front door only to find her blonde haired best friend standing there rubbing the back of his head nervously.
 
“Good morning Naruto.  What’s up?” she tilt her head to the side slightly.
 
“I was wondering if I could maybe take you to breakfast?” Narutos cheeks had turned a slight pink as he refused to make eye contact. “I-I mean without the henge though…”
 
“Oh!  Wait… “ her cheeks also took on a pink tint as she stared him down a moment.  “d-do you mean like a date?”
 
“No!” Naruto panicked and quickly looked up at Sasuko only to find a disappointed look on her face. “I-I mean yes? I mean… if you want it to be…”
 
“actually.. I think I do…” the raven blushed before stepping aside to let Naruto in. “you’ll have to come in and wait for me to get changed though.”
 
    The blonde nodded and quickly fallowed her into her living room where she had him wait on the couch.
 
   Sasuko hurried back into her bedroom and threw open her closet doors. Getting onto her knees she pulled out a bag from the clothing store from when she went with Sakura. She nervously chewed on her lip as she pulled up the black and red sundress that Sakura had talked her into. Her cheek still pink as she quickly released her henge and wiggled into the sundress. She moved to stand in front of her mirror and decided to pull her hair up into a ponytail before rushing back out to the living room.
 
    Naruto stood from the couch as sasuko walked back in, his eyes widening slightly as he took in the sight of her.
 
“wow! That dress looks great on you.” He blushed and stepped closer.
 
“thank you. Shall we?” she smiled and tilted her head towards the door.
 
“Yes definitely!” He hopped in front of Sasuko and held the door open for her. “where would you like to go?”
 
“Come on Naruto, I know how much you love ramen.” Sasuko giggled softly as they started walking.
 
“While that is true, I asked Iruka sensei and he said that taking a girl out for ramen isn’t really a date.” Naruto blushed and rubbed the back of his head.
 
“I’m really ok with ramen.” She smiled.
 
“All right! Let’s go!” Naruto grabbed her hand and they started running.
 
   The pair ran all the way to the ramen shack, laughing as they raced and sliding around the corner just two blocks from the ramen shack before they slowed to a walk. Smiling as they bumped shoulders.
 
 “Oh, by the way if anyone asks, my name is Sarah. “ Sasuko said softly. “that’s what Sakura and I had to tell Kiba when we ran into him after the store.” 
 
   Naruto couldn’t help but laugh at the thought.
 
“He tried to hit on me too, asked me to go to dinner with him sometime. “ Sasuko giggled while she said it.
 
“That mutt… “Naruto growled grumpily.
 
“I told him no.” she giggled as they ducked into the ramen shack and sat next to each other.
 
“Good.” Naruto nodded and rubbed his nose which earned him a giggle from Sasuko.
 
   Sasuko blushed and bit her lip before leaning over and kissing Naruto’s cheek. “I only wanted to go out with you.”
 
   Naruto’s face resembled a tomato as he gave a shy chuckle then ordered his regular ramen. “what do you want to eat Sarah?” he grinned using the name in front of the cook.
 
“hmmm…” she tapped a finger to her chin playfully. “ I'll take whatever you recommend.”
 
   He nodded vigorously before ordering her the same as himself.   
 
   The two were soon eating happily as they talked about the kinds of missions they expected now that they were ninja.  Once they had eaten their fill Naruto paid for the food and they exited the ramen shack.
 
 "Do you need to be anywhere today?” Naruto asked as he kicked at a bit of gravel.
 
 “Nope! I’m all yours today. “ Sasuko giggled softly as his face once again turned red.
 
    Naruto smiled shyly as he held out his hand for her, a gesture that she accepted with a smile of her own. The two of them started walking with no real destination in mind.
