(A/N: sry this had taken so long you guys. But I finally have a little free time and I'm ready to work!)

Sasuko and Naruto walked hand in hands down the street. It still being rather early in the day meant they only passed a couple of people. The people they passed seemed to be in far too much of a hurry to pay them any mind, probably on their way to work or something else.

The peaceful atmosphere persisted as they made their way towards a small secluded park at the edge of town. Both of them took a seat on the swing set next to each other but facing opposite directions so they could talk as the swing.

"I never realized how quiet it was out here in the mornings." Sasuko gave Naruto a toothy smile as she spoke. "It's very peaceful."

"We used to come here all the time back before all the bad stuff happened." Naruto gave a half smile back at her. " I missed coming here with you."

"I've missed you as well." She sighed softly and lightly kicked at the dirt beneath her swing. "I promise you… I will NEVER disappear on you again… unless it was for a very VERY good reason."

"I trust you, Sasuko. I always have and always will." His boyish smile automatically brought back the happy feeling in her chest, then one she only had around him.

"I trust you as well."

They spent a couple of hours at the park simply swinging and chatting quietly. Both friends filled each other in on the things they had missed out on the past few years. Before they got up and started walking again.

Naruto wanted to take Sasuko to his favorite place. Though he wouldn't tell her where that was, she happily tagged along. The two of them bumping shoulders as they talked quietly.

The streets were definitely more crowded now. Sasuko was becoming rather uncomfortable at the amount of villagers she had already seen shooting Naruto dirty looks. But he didn't seem to notice at all. His smile never faltered as they walked together and every ounce of his attention was devoted to her.

That thought alone provoked a heavy blush on the young Sasuko.

Just as they were rounding another corner Naruto ran straight into someone's back. Abruptly ending his rambling on about his favorite ramens and how the Hokage told him it was also his mother's favorite food.

The person he had run into turned around as Naruto started rubbing his injured nose and apologizing repeatedly. Sasuko grumbled inwardly as it turned out to be Kiba and his team that they had run into.  Sasuko visibly cringed once he noticed her.

"Well hey there beautiful!" Kiba looked her over from head to toe with the cockiness of one of those tiny dogs that think they are the big boss in town. "Your cousin told me I could ask you out if I saw you again."

"Look here dog boy! She's already on a date!" Naruto was visibly upset but Kinda pretended to not even notice.

"What do you say? Want to go out on a date with me?" Kibas lips turned into a wolfish smile.

Sasuko noticed Kiba's team standing behind him, including Hinata. 'I get to kill two birds with one stone.' she thought.

"Can't you see that I'm already on a date!?" Sasuko projected her anger at the rude kiba. "Don't you think that if I'm already on a date with Naruto, that would mean that you're OBVIOUSLY not my type!?"

Kiba tried to say something to the seething Sasuko but she kept talking.

"I tried to be nice the other day and let you down easy, but now I see your over confidence and your cockiness is more than skin deep!" She pointed an accusatory finger at Kiba as she continued. "Do you honestly think girls like to be hounded like this!? My cousin told me that you followed me home that day. That's just plain creepy! The answer is NO I definitely do NOT want to go out with you. So please grow up, stop pretending my date isn't here and for the love of the gods… get out of our way."
