It had been a week since my sister’s death and not once have I left my room unless it was to get food of course. My phone sat unmoved buzzing on and off all day. Tomorrow was my sister’s funeral and although my parents have asked me to help prepare I haven’t been able to pull myself together and face the fact. Tomorrow is the day. I hate how at every funeral they say it’s the final goodbye but everyone says they will be forever in their hearts: so why are they saying goodbye when they’re not going anywhere... They also say that there a celebration but if that’s the case then why are they so sad. The truth about funerals is that there not really for the dead but more for the living our way of letting go but the truth is if there really important to you, you never let go. My parents asked me to write a speech for the funeral but what was I suppose to talk about her life, the day she died its all stuff I try to forget but honestly how can I. I graved my pen and notebook and begin to dot point ideas but none of them seem right. My bin began to fill with crumpled paper I’ll never find the perfect speech. I decide to take a break and check my phone.

A million messages from Mia saying Hey xx, answer please bae, bae, please, how are you holding up, bae. A text from Harry saying if you ever need someone to talk to I’m here and a message form Liberty saying how are you love. Later that day mum came up to my room to say I have a visitor I ran down the stairs screaming Miaaaaa but that’s where I was wrong it was Harry. I quickly yelled “what the fuck do you want?” Mum yelled “Christina” I yell “sorry mum” Then Harry replied in a calm voice “I want to help” “I don’t need your shit not now” I yelled He replied even calmer “I’m not here to hurt you” “Bullshit” I yelled “now get out of my house”. That was it he turned and left looking as though I had just bitch slapped him across the face when obviously that was what he came to do to me.
