Chaeyoung isn't a book person nor someone who took liking in visiting libraries, but she always find herself being there, staring at this one particular person. Myoui Mina.
The very pretty black swan of the school. She has everything Chaeyoung doesn't. The looks, money, intelligence, fame, friends.
Mina is perfect. And she's so pretty that everyone would be drooling over her even if all she do is exist. Chaeyoung is everyone.
Chaeyoung isn't near being pretty, she thinks. And you know, sometimes, she wonders if the mirror would break if she shows up infront of it for more than a second.
It wouldn't, but Chaeyoung still thinks otherwise.
Myoui Mina isn't only pretty, she's also very kind and approachable. She's not one of those stuck up rich ass spoiled brats like one in the movies. Mina is an angel, and she have lots of friends.
Chaeyoung doesn't have any.
But it's still fine..maybe.
Fine before bullies took interest in making her good days, miserable.
Things were a little different after that. Life became harder, and school sucks even more. Luckily, Mina was there to make Chaeyoung hold on for a little bit more.
They're friends but not really, you know? They're stuck between strangers who knows each other. That's what they are.
However, although there's a huge possibility that they would graduate with just being friends but not really friends, Chaeyoung still hopes to be more than that.
It was stupid. Yeah, yeah Chaeyoung knows that. And she also knows that there's this big gap between them that will always keep them apart. May be it in visuals, lifestyle, IQ, and whatever.
You know, In a concert, Mina would be the idol and Chaeyoung would be the fan who'll do everything just make her lovely idol, notice her.
In a concert, Mina is someone who everyone adores, while Chaeyoung is a speck of dust with million of others.
That's how Chaeyoung usually thinks what their relationship is.
Reality is sad sometimes, isn't it?
And it sucks Chaeyoung can't do anything about it. She's just a mere human, a weak and stupid one to be exact.
She sighs, closing the thick book (she used to hide from getting caught in staring) when Mina left the library.
And just right after the door closed, it opened once again, revealing a person Chaeyoung wanted to meet the very least.
She knew she's doomed when that person came up to her table, looking so pissed off (much pissed off than yesterday), uttering from a distance, "Pathetic little cub. You really gave me a hard time looking for you."
Usually, Tzuyu doesn't spend half an hour beating Chaeyoung up, punching and kicking her till the poor cub is curling on the floor, whimpering at the pain; And just immediately takes what she needs.
But today is a little different. Maybe.
Tzuyu must've had such a bad day, Chaeyoung thinks. She wishes this would end now cause her little brother would probably be very worried when she comes to pick him up at his school, looking so badly injured.
"Are you done letting your anger out Tzu? I'm very hungry you know." The person leaning on the vandalized wall, whined. Such a typical thing Momo would say. "Just get her money so we could go now."
