I roll to my side and pull a hand up to brush the hair from my face, looking around the bright room.

Where am I?

It's completely bare except for the camera on the wall, pointed directly at me. I push myself onto my haunches as memories flood my mind.

They injected me with something.

Was... was that their super solider serum?

I don't feel any different.

I shudder as I remember the burning pain that accompanied the injection, grateful it's over.

But what the hell is going on?

I feel around me, realizing with sudden hope that my abilities are back. I reach to the door, trying to make sense of the intricate locking mechanisms before giving up and just trying to bust the door down.

Of course not.

Fuck.

"Good morning, Y/N. It is good to see you awake. You were unconscious for quite a while," the disembodied voice of Doctor Hof echoes through the room.

"How long have I been out?" I ask before I can stop myself.

"Almost two weeks. But it was worth the wait. Your body took wonderfully to the serum, and now we are ready to test you."

Two weeks?

I was asleep for two weeks?

How long have I been here?

Wait—test me?

"What do you—" I'm cut off by the door unbolting and sliding open, revealing a group of people. Their faces are blank as they file in. Ten total. "What's going on?" I ask lowly as I push myself to stand.

"Now that you have additional abilities, I would like to know their limits. As well as where you stand in terms of training so we know what kind of work we have ahead of us. This will be a little sparring session with my agents. All enhanced of course. Agent Harrison, you may begin."

Training?

Before I have a chance to question further, a tall man steps forward and I instinctively step back. I don't care that there's already 20 feet between us, I don't want to be anywhere near him. He watches me blank faced as he stalks towards me, my heart hammering in my chest as my mind empties of all thoughts.

Stop freaking out you fuck and do something.

I send a wall of air at him and he goes flying to the ground, but in a blink he's standing again, now glaring at me. He suddenly sprints at me and I send a beam of air at his shins, making him faceplant to the floor.

Don't laugh.

Don't laugh.

"MacPherson. Avci. Kal," I hear before two women and a man step forward. Harrison is already standing and making his way towards me again when Bucky's voice echoes in my mind.

'Don't back yourself into a corner.'

I step forward, watching where their eyes and bodies move. Then I reach out the way I had with Natasha and feel for their movements.

Two of them edge to my left while the other two go right, and I feel my options start to dwindle as to what I can do. I push air outward from me and pin the four to the walls, watching as they struggle to escape. I maintain the bonds and slide them towards the front of the room before dropping them to the ground.
