Y/N's POV

The moment that we step foot in the library, I quickly turned around to face Mina causing her to stepback in shock.

"I'll look for Mathematics, History, and English Literature books, the remaining books are up to you," I said.

"Okay..." She responded softly and nodded.

I walked towards the shelves that contain the books that I'm looking for.

I did my best to analyze the books, the topics that we need to review needs to be in the table of contents so that our reviewing will be much easier and efficient.

I felt my phone vibrating, I returned the books from its shelf and took out my phone to see that Dahyun is calling.

"Why did you suddenly call?" I asked with a quiet voice since I'm here at the library and being scolded by the librarian is not really good.

Dahyun: We're at the gym, where are you? If I'm not mistaken, you're also excused, right?

"I'm at the library and I'm also excused." I shortly replied.

Dahyun: Hm... You're with your rival, right?

"Yeah..."

Dahyun: Yah! Be nice to her, okay? Or else I'll throw a ball at your face.

"I already said yes, Dahyun. Stop telling me to be nice to her, I'm getting sick of it."

Dahyun: *chuckle* Oh and by the way, congratulations! You won't get scolded by your parents later~

"Jerk..."

She's the only one who knows about how I get treated by my parents. I have no choice but to deal with her.

Dahyun: *chuckle* I love you too~ Good luck with your review! I hope you get along with your beloved Minari–

I ended the call and put it in my pocket even before she finishes her sentence.

I picked up the books again.

I'm sure that if I didn't hang up, she will keep on saying things that make no sense.

I was about to return the book when something caught my attention through the small gap where I'm going to put my book in.

The gap was enough for me to have a clear view of what's on the other side of the shelf.

I don't know why but I can't seem to stop myself from staring at her, she looks busy flipping the pages of a book while her lips are pursed due to her concentration.

I look like a fool and guess what?

I'm staring at my one and only rival.

Myoui Mina.

Why did I never notice that she was this lovely? Especially right now. Her doe-like eyes, cute moles that perfectly fit her face, her perfectly sculpted nose, her beautiful side-profile, and hee soft lips–

"You're drooling." Someone said.

I froze after realizing that they caught me admiring my rival.

I looked at the person beside me to see–

I blinked as I looked at Sana who's smirking at me. I felt my face heat up due to embarrassment as I avoided her gaze.

"Omo~ Omo~ I just caught someone staring at my bestfriend~" She sang and giggled at my reaction.

I felt myself blush in a darker shade of red.
