Chapter 15

Y/N's POV

A few days passed since we started reviewing separately.

I didn't talk to Mina ever since.

Classes have already ended and I'm currently at my locker to get my notes.

I froze when I remembered something.

Shit! I forgot to tell Mina that we will exchange notes today to make a test. It's already Saturday tomorrow!

I rushed my way back to our classroom, hoping that Mina is still there, but I saw no one once I arrived. There were only empty seats.

She already left the classroom.

But surely, she hasn't gone home, right?

Perhaps she's in the SSG Office.

As I was walking to the SSG Office, I noticed that there was still some students training in the field, but my friends are nowhere to be seen. They probably went home.

But I'm sure that Jihyo is still at the office since she always has paperwork.

I knocked three times and entered once I heard someone say, 'come in'.

Jihyo was already fixing her things, getting ready to leave.

"Y/N? What brings you here?" She asked while organizing her bag.

"Can I ask something?" I asked shyly as we went outside and locked the office.

"What is it?" She asked.

"Do you think that Mina left the school already? I forgot to tell her something."

I arched my brow in confusion when I saw Jihyo's lips forming into a smirk.

"She hasn't, she's in ballet class right now." She answered.

I was surprised by what she said.

"You didn't know she did ballet?" She asked, also surprised.

"No. I never knew that she was a dancer." I murmured but she heard it.

"As far as I know, if someone is your rival, you should know everything about them, and never show them kindness." She said, making me stop walking as I looked at her in confusion.

She also stopped and looked at me with a smile.

"Based on my observations, you don't see Mina as your rival. There must be a reason why you're forcing yourself to see her that way." She added which caused my eyes to widen.

No...

That's not possible...

I've always seen her as my rival ever since.

"By the way, Y/N. I must go! Bye~" She exclaimed before hopping her way towards the exit of the school.

She told me to be nice to Mina yet she already speculated things that aren't even true.

I'm only doing this for the quiz bee.

Right, I'm only doing this for the sake of our school.

I shook my head, trying to forget the thoughts in my head, and immediately searched for the ballet class.

While I was searching I realized that I'm just going in circles.

Damn. I have studied here for so long but it seems like I'm going to get lost while searching for you, Mina.
