The cold tile flooring seemingly stings as Jungkook, the first member awake heads off to the kitchen, his milky brown orbs settling onto the leftover cookie and a letter placed on the counter
Although the men knew the actual status of Santa's existence, they made it a tradition to write a letter as him to make the holiday magic live on for every Christmas they celebrated together.
Jungkook excited dashes back upstairs before waking Taehyung, who just finished a Nextflix marathon.
"Tae!! It's finally Christmas. You know what that means, right??" The younger male exclaims, bouncing up down.
"Yeah! You wake up Yoongi-hyung though... Last year was so scary when he got mad at me!"
Jungkook subconsciously agrees, paying more attention into waking up Jimin by diving onto his bed. This obviously worked as the tired hyung-nae ruffles the other's hair, a smile growing onto his face.
Namjoon and Hoseok walk downstairs from their rooms in a dazed state, quickly coming to their senses as they see the maknae line racing towards the Christmas tree. Jin eventually follow suit, his lavender-colored silk nightwear smoothly brushing upon the surface of the railing.
Everyone is gathered into the living room, besides one member of course.. until he suddenly walks up to them, waving happily. They've never seen the second oldest be so festive and cheerful, so they decide to savor it by giving him his presents first. The gifts included a ultra-comfort pillow and blanket combo, noise-canceling earbuds, as well as an adorable plushie.
The wrapping paper scraps and tape stuck onto the carpet could be less hidden in the spirit of Christmas and the group give and receive amazing gifts. Through the trying times, their holiday was still amazing.
