Chapter 19 - You Are My Everything

Bright's POV

The soft pattering of wind and rain on my window seal is what made me roll over and pull Win closer to me but the more I buried him into my chest the more he began to move as a low groan leaves his lips.

"Did I wake you?"

I murmurred sleepily and he slowly shakes his head against my bare skin before pressing his lips to my left peck.

"No I've been awake for a little while now. I think the craziness of today's event's decided to keep my mind running even when I was sleeping and the wind smacking against your window wasn't helping."

I began to run my hand through his hair to calm him down as his breath quickened against my skin.

"I can turn some music on if nature is being too loud for you."

I could hear him laughing softly as my body lets go of its tension and slowly roll Win on top of me as I stare up at him.

"Was that suppose to be cute?"

"...Maybe."

I replied and his eyes moved to my window before he just shakes his head and slides off of my body leaving me feeling rather cold without his warmth or a blanket.

"You really are something, you know that?"

He asked as he stood up and started to walk toward his clothes that were thrown in the corner I couldn't help but stare at his ass as the outline of his bulge caught my eye when his body turned to the side for a fraction of a second.

"I know I am but you are the one that has to put up with me and who says you are any better than I am?"

As he bent over to grab his clothes he looked to the side and gave me a pout before standing back up and throwing a piece of clothing at me.

"Don't make me cranky Bright, just throw this on and come downstairs with me to grab some water. I would have gotten it myself but your legs were entangled with mine and I was afraid I was going to make your bones snap if I moved."

With a chuckle I just slipped the tank top over me and rest my hands on either side of the bed frame.

"You excited about the adoption?"

Even though it was dark I could see his cheeks turning red as he slowly nodded.

"I can't stop thinking about it, even though we spent most of the day trying to put together an appliance and my little brother drowning you in toys I can't help but think about the twins and Leo. We've been waiting so long to bring them home and start our little family that it almost doesn't feel real. It's also nice that you..."

He had gone silent while I grinned at him and stood up before he shook his head and headed for the bedroom door.

"Never mind, I'm just happy our family is growing."

As he pulled open the door I walked up behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist before gently kissing his shoulder.

"It's also nice that I what babe?..."

His arms wrapped around mine but that was it, he didn't say anything else even though I knew what he wanted to say and I didn't mind because a deep part me feels the same way.

"It's nice that I can see again?"

"...you know I don't love you because you can see but I can see the happiness that has grown on your face since your surgery and it always makes my heart feel fuller. Even today I couldn't help but love you a little more than I already do because of the joy you radiate onto everyone else around you.
