First off,
Thanks you for giving this story a go! This story was planned and wrote in about 10 weeks as a project for a class at school. We were given a task that had no guidelines (we could literally do whatever we wanted), which stressed me out immensely. However, as a voracious reader, I knew immediately that I wanted to write something. Fantasy, sci-fi, dystopia, whatever! I knew that I was going to write an imaginative piece in those 10 weeks. At first I aimed for about 10, 000 words, which seemed like a manageable goal at the time.
Imagine my teachers surprise when I submitted a full novella.
This story definitely grew as I wrote it. My writing became stronger, my plot became more involved, and the characters definitely became more personable. Having said that, the start is slow.
And I'm sure you hear this a lot from many other Wattpad writers, but it is the truth. If you get bored, or don't finish- I completely understand. Not everyone has to enjoy what I write. Which brings me to my second point:
There is no romance in this story. None. Zip. Zero.
I know this will deter many readers, but I won't drag you through my book if you're waiting for some romance. There is none.
This also brings me to my third and final point. This story is completely pre-written. It has been finished for about a month, and in this time, I've been struggling to write, which is why I think it's about time I shared some of my previous writing for criticism and motivation to do better.
I hope that sharing my story will give me that.
