Jack and Taylor had lost in the lab.
"What are we gonna do? We don't know where we are!""Calm down. Look, here written 'The Prison", Kim might be there," Jack said. He looked through a tiny piece of glass on an thick iron gate. It was Kim, fainted on a chair.
"I don't think you can break the door Jack..."
Jack was kept kicking the door, though he knew it's never possible to break it with his leg.
His gave up. He started creating a flame ball on his hand."Don't tell me you are trying to melt the door," Taylor laughed before she realized Jack was serious. "It's impossible and dangerous stop it now!"
The flame was red at first. It slowly turned orange, yellow, cyan, blue, and finally white, which meant the temperature was then higher than 6000°C, the gate melted. A big hole was melted.
"You okay?"
"Fine. Gotta work out fast," Jack said, panting. He rushed inside and knelt before Kim at once.
"Wake up Kim, Kim!" Jack put his hands on Kim's shoulders and was glad that he could still feel her heartbeat."Jack?" Kim opened her eyes finally.
"Jack!" Jack and Kim hugged tightly but Kim soon let go.
"Taylor?"
"Yeah she came along with us to rescue Jerry. Milton came together too but they- I'll explain to you later," Jack caught hold her hands.
"No-" Kim shook off his hands. "Now."
"Doubting me?" Jack laughed and said, "Stop joking, time to go."
"I ain't joking."Silence followed by.
"What do you mean?"
The memory of Kim broke out, the photos Milton sent her, where Taylor and Jack were always next to each other... Grace phoned her that she saw they had been in chemistry lab doing chemistry together... And now... She might be too sensitive but what's wrong with only confirming nothing has really changed?
"I'm dating with Jerry and Jack is not my type," Taylor explained quickly. Jack grabbed Kim's shoulders tightly and said gently, "really, time to go."
This act actually worsened the situation, Kim felt that she was fooled by the reality. She tried to smile for being silly to solve this embarrassing time. But she can't, she wanted to break everything and tell them how lonely she was in Japan. She couldn't resist herself being emotional.
"Three years, together. Popular? Hot guy?" her voice was suddenly cold. "Have you ever thought about how I felt, always ignored by your popularity. Alone in Japan, without anyone of you coming to visit me. It is enough for me, it's so hard to stay together with you!" and she finished, it was weaker than imagined. She gazed into Jack's eyes. That pure iris burning fire was frightening her. She never knew, at that moment, her old best friend, the one knew everything about her, the person she'd ever like, was then a painful existence to her.
Unexpectedly, Jack laughed again, then let go of Kim's shoulders, and at the same time, let go of his temper.
"That's right lady, from this moment onward, Jackson Brewer is done with Kimberly Crawford. I AM NOT A PILLOW THAT YOU CAN HIT WHENEVER YOU LIKE." His tone was angry and sarcastic. Putting all his love for Kim, gaining back nothing. He was right why should he be punished?
Kim wasn't sure is this the right way to let go her temper. She didn't want any of this to happen.
Sadly she was too tough. Her ego and dynamite took her over.
"BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE I SAID BOOOOM, YOU CAN LIVE WITHOUT HIM." her heart whispered."In Japan everyone was so strong and fight for their goals, but family and friends mean nothing to them. I thought you're the one whom I can rely on and trust..."
Kim would've said this, if, if she really lost her trust to Jack."Fine. It deserves to end now."
Kim held a fist and left the prison, Taylor followed by, leaving Jack alone.
They broke up, but somehow different. Kim's heart was at Jack's and Jack's heart was at Kim's. Their hearts were trapped by each other.
Stopped thinking, he left.
