Chapter 19 - Story Behind

"Smart. But I have more" Pierson started working on his computer on the console again.

"Guys we need to do something to disturb him. He must have stronger weapons."

"Kay I'll do it," Kim turned around and faced those reflecting turbolasers outside the shelter. She looked up, "Mr. Gillespie, you know, you're SMART, INTELLIGENT, such a GENIUS scientist. But look at your brother, he's just a stup-" Rudy glared at Kim, Kim swallowed the remaining words. "Why do you have such a big difference?"

"Good question," Pierson stopped his work. "When we were young, our parents..."

"Yes that's it!" Kim whispered.

"And what I mean by "board", is our dining table. So when our parents discovered Rudy's talent on Karate, I became invisible to them. Everything is Rudy, Rudy, Rudy. And me? A nerd who'd only break all the electrical appliance for 'observation'. "

"So you're being neglected all the time?"

Pierson remained silent. He put his hand on the computer, sweeping casually. "I was captured by a bunch of crazy scientists along with other children when I was ten. They wanted to use us as experimental specimens. To be honest, the scientist testing for us was far from clever. He failed for several times and finally I decided to take his place and finished the experiment. I turned that scientist into a pig. And that's how I join them. Which later on I discovered some unusual powers in this world. Therefore, I organized the 'Power Hunters'. "

"There're other unusual power?"

"☺yeah, you're not the only one. There're the Bionic Power , the Wizards Power and many more."

"Your target is us, this time," Jack stared deeply into Pierson's eyes, he found misery.

"I found Rudy about two years ago, he was in a dojo teaching some nerds karate, which I guessed those students are you." Pierson laughed, "I have fame, money, everything I want. And Rudy? He had nothin.."

"But a family," Rudy cut in.

Pierson stopped laughing. "I didn't know about the Wasabi Power by the time being. I knew about it three months ago. I asked the master Bobby Wasabi but poor him, he's not a Wasabi Warrior. Anyway, I knew that the power must be somewhere in The House of Wasabi, so I built a lab here. Later on, I figured out one of the Wasabi Warriors is Miss Crawford, that's why I captured her at the airport. She knew nothing nonetheless. I was going to captured Rudy instead. I tricked him in Falafel Phil's and he came with me. I turned him into a pig, which is my best trick. You guys sneaked in unexpectedly, but well, that's even better than my own plan."

Rudy stepped out of the shelter.
