Chapter 22 - The Resurrect Plan

"Eddie, what are you talking about?"

"I'm talking about that we may have the ability to save Milton!"

"We can't change anything, admit it, Milton has forever left," Taylor said.

"No! Guys, his body is still warm, which means that his soul was still kept by the remaining power of wind. I believe we can transfer our power to Milton to wake up his soul!"

"That's ridiculous and implausible. I don't think -" Taylor was cut off.
"You think we could try?" asked Rudy.
"Definitely, but we gotta work fast, before his remaining power ran out."
"Alright guys why don't we give a try then?" Jack smiled.
"However, that's also a risk."
"Eddie can't you explain everything at one time?" Kim rolled her eyes.
"I can't ensure that all of us can give out our power fully to save Milton. Or even we can, if Milton's conscious of survival isn't strong enough. He wouldn't receive the power and all we do is worthless."

"As long as we want Milton to live again, we can apply the power fully. Milton is strong, he's not that kind of person who'd give up easily. He will survive," Jack said with clenched fists, he's saving his friend no matter what.

"One last thing, I have just received the power of wind, so the power hasn't completely adapt to my body, so is Kim (she received the power of ice yesterday). We should be able to give out our power and it won't cause too much harm to us. But Rudy, Jack and Jerry have already received that a few days ago. I'm afraid that..." Eddie stopped.

Rudy took a deep breath, "What will happen to us?"

"Well the power works as an organ to protect our body. It's like our lungs, imagine what'll happen if our lungs just disappeared suddenly?"

"So we may not able to save Milton, and we're also risking our life?"

"The worst situation is, we can't save Milton, and neither survive."

Nobody was willing to say a word. The horrible truth lay in front, it's their decision.

"Milton has sacrificed his life for us, why can't we?" Rudy stepped forward. "I'm in."
Jack and Kim held each other's hand, also stepped forward, "So are we."
"Count me in," Eddie smiled.

"I'm..." Taylor grabbed Jerry 's hand suddenly. "Give us a sec."

Jerry and Taylor walked away and Jerry immediately shook off her hand, "What are you doing?"

"Listen Jerry, you can't go."
"Why?"
"We have just got together and I can't lose you."
"Milton is my frien-"
"I know, but I am your girlfriend. You could've died! Is that worth to use five people's life to save one's? I don't think so."
"Taylor, maybe this equation makes completely nonsense in Mathematics, but it's an identity in friendship. Milton is my frien... No, my family. And my family is more important than anything in this world. I promise, I'll be alright, okay?" Jerry gazed at Taylor.

Taylor whispered something in his ear, Jerry nodded and sighed - He didn't have any choice.

Jerry went back to the crowd and stand next to his warriors.

"Wasabi!!"
