Chapter 20 - The Truth

- In the Central Control Room -

"JERRY! You are getting slower and slower than the computer!"

"I KNOW, the number is appearing faster and faster!! 3, 6, 4, 1, 9, 7, 3, 6, 6, 2, 3, 5, 0, 8.. MAN I'M FREAKIN OUT" Jerry cried.

"Just do it Jerry!!" 'Milton' shouted, he's only an illusion of Milton on Jerry 's mind. He had nothing similar to Milton except the appearance.

Jerry thought about friends, his family. Everything they had accomplished together. He would never give up, never.

His legs moved faster uncontrollably: this thought activated the dual effect of the Wasabi Power.

"2 to the power 3? Man what is that?" his leg again uncontrollably tapped the number 8.

"The computer system is shutting.. down..."

"YES MILTON WE DID IT!" Jerry high-fived with 'Milton', Milton disappeared right before Jerry touched his hands.

"Just an.. illusion."

~Back in the arena~

"Rudy what are you doing come back!!"

Rudy shook his head. "Pierson, I never knew that you hated me so much when we were young. I'm not good at saying those "ditch the wives" words to change you, but I, I want you to know what was really happening."

"I thought we used to have great time together. I broke the furniture, you destroyed the electrical appliances. We're like twi.. oh we're twin. You know what happened after you got caught? Dad was just going to tell you you got the scholarship to England. But there was a car accident and... Mum was absent-minded after losing the two most important men in her life. She's now in the psychiatric hospital, still regretting for you."

Pierson remained silent, his eyes told Jack, his heart was torn apart.

"We have a family. I found where I belong after meeting these kids. Misery doesn't affect me anymore, cuz I have a strong family. And I believe, you can, too," Rudy walked back into the ray shelter, which Jack noticed the lasers were no longer shooting, and the gates were opened wide by the moment.
