Emily's POV

It's been a few days since Alison found out about the new addition to my body, and honestly I'm surprised she likes it. I never thought she'd be the kind of girl who likes things like that. If anything I would have thought that she would of hated it. Especially because she's always so mature and proper and opposed to things so spontaneous and wild. But then again, I could be completely wrong about her.

I guess the only down side to the past three days is that Alison has been acting all secretive whenever she gets phone calls. She even goes as far as leaving the apartment entirely before she even picks up the phone, like what's that about?

When Ali got one of her weird calls again, she left CeCe and I in the living room. We were just giving each other looks trying to see if we could piece the puzzle together. Unfortunately we couldn't.

"Okay girls, go pack. We're leaving tomorrow morning" Alison says as soon as she walks back into the living room.

"What? Where are we going?" CeCe asks.

"California for the week" Ali answers.

"W-why?" I stutter out.

"Your family wants us to visit, and I already told them we're going. So hurry up and pack. Unless you want me to do that for you as well?"

"Oooh Ali. Can you pack for me too? I hate packing" CeCe butted in.

"No. I'm not your mother. You can do that on your own"

"Then how come you're packing for Emily?" CeCe asks.

"Because she's my girl. And you're a grown woman. You can pack on your own" Ali answers giving her a smirk.

"Babe, how come my parents told you and never even called me to say that they wanted us to visit?" I ask confused.

"You're so cute when you get confused baby. But they didn't tell you because I wanted it to be a surprise. They're really looking forward to seeing you again and meeting CeCe and I" she answers with a smile.

Now I can't help but to be scared. I know my mom says she's okay with Alison and I, but I have no idea how my brother and dad will take it. Hopefully by the time we get there things will go smooth. I really don't want my two families fighting with each other.

<The Next Day>

Alison's POV

We finally arrive at LAX a little before 7 p.m., I even rented us a car so we didn't have to bother Mr. and Mrs. Fields with a ride. Although since I haven't been to Emily's old home before, I had to have Em drive us there.

Throughout the whole ride to her parents place, she kept fidgeting in her seat and gripping the steering wheel to the point where her knuckles turned white. What was she so nervous about anyways?

"Baby, relax. Don't get so worried about this. If your parents aren't okay with it after all then I'll understand. Just please don't stress out during this trip. You're suppose to enjoy the time with your family. CeCe and I can handle it. Isn't that right Ce?" I say as I turn my head back only to find a passed out CeCe laying across the back row of seats.

Just great.

"Okay well here it is" Emily says as she pulls into a driveway. I couldn't help but notice that the house seems pretty big for just four people.

"CeCe wake up. We're here already" I then say trying to wake my sister up.

Once she's awake, she gets out of the car and waits for us to get off as well. That's when Em quickly grabs my hand to stop me from getting out of the car.

"I just want to say sorry ahead of time babe. I don't know what will happen. But I'm sorry. Just know that I love you and won't let anything get too out of hand. I promise" she says caressing the back of my hand.

Could her family really be as bad as she makes them out to be? I know first handily that her mother was, but she eventually got over it. Her father can't be any worse then she was.... could he?

Now I'm really starting to get kind of worried if this was the right move to make. But after all, her family is really traditional. So maybe it just might be a good thing after all?

Unfortunately before we could even knock, Emily's brother ran out of the door and practically tackled her to the grass. Do they always greet each other like that? Because if so, I might actually be a little scared now.

"Yo sis. When can I take Roxy off your hands?" he asks before she can even say as much as a 'hi' to him.

"Never! Roxy is my baby. No one is taking her from me. So go get your own" she replies as she nudges his arm. Okay who the fuck is Roxy and why won't she give her up?

I was about to ask furiously of course until my girlfriend's parents came out to meet us.

"Hello Mr. and Mrs. Fields, I'm Alison and this is my younger sister CeCe" I reply as I stick my hand out for a handshake.

I was surprised when Mrs. Fields pulls me in for a hug instead. I honestly never thought this would happen, especially not this soon.

"Honey, remember I told you to just call me Pam" she says before releasing me. "And by the way, this family is filled with huggers. Except for those two over there. I never understood those kids" she chuckles as she points to Em and her brother now play fighting on the grass. Wow! She really is like a big kid, but she's my big kid.

I think I'm going to like this woman, Em's father on the other hand looks extremely intimidating, and her brother is okay I guess. Except I still don't know who the fuck Roxy is. I'm just going to have to ask her later tonight.

"CeCe get over here and give us a hug" Pam says finally acknowledging my sister who was standing behind me.

"Alison" is all Em's father says as he shakes my hand with a stern facial expression. No hug. Does that mean he already doesn't like me?

"Okay you two. Stop playing around and help these young ladies in the house to their rooms" Pam yells out to the two 'kids' playing.

"Okay mom" Jake responds.

"Hey sorry for leaving you on your own for a minute babe. Here I'll help you guys out" Em says as she kisses my forehead trying to take our suitcases with her. I couldn't help but notice that this whole time her father was glaring at us. I haven't even been here 5 minutes and I think I already messed up.

"No baby it's alright. CeCe and I can handle our stuff. Just as long as you're here to guide us, of course" I reply taking the suitcase back away from her.

"Okay babe. Whatever you want. Just come on and I'll show you around. And you too sis" Em replies as she grabs CeCe's hand during her last sentence. I didn't even know she considered themselves as sisters. It was so adorable.

I'm guessing Mr. Fields caught that too because his eyebrows shot up on Em's last word.

Oh boy! This is going to be one long week. Hopefully it's not a bad one though.

This is just a short little filler chapter before the good stuff kicks in soon. It might take me a while though in comparison to my usual Monday updates though because the author is being transmitted again. But in honor of her bday today, you guys get this chapter.
