<Later That Week>
Emily's POV
This week was a crazy week, to say the least. I'm just so glad I was able to finally tell my parents off for not being okay with me and Alison. I guess that's all it took because now they're okay with it, go figure.
The only thing I hate about it is that I had to give up my Roxy! Now I'll never be able to get another bike like that again. But whatever, I always keep my word and plus, I have Alison. I guess that's more then a fare trade, well for me anyways.
Unfortunately, it's time to go back home tomorrow. I'm sure going to miss my family here but I can't wait to go back to our apartment. I miss sleeping next to my girl, or should I say with?
That's when I hear footsteps outside my room snapping me out of my happy thoughts.
"Em, baby are you in here?" Alison says as she knocks on my door. I wonder what she wants this time.
Instead of opening the door for her, I just tell her to come in so I can hide behind the door when she opens it.
"Where are you at Em?" she says as soon as she walks in.
"Gotcha!" I yell as I poke her sides from behind. I couldn't help but laugh so hard when I seen Alison literally jump off the ground in shock.
"What the hell Em!? Are you trying to give me a heart attack?" she says as she tries to get her breathing back to normal.
"Sorry babe. I couldn't help it. You look so cute when you're getting scared to death" I say between laughs.
"God Em! That was so not funny. Well not for me anyways!"
"Here maybe this might change your mind"
"Em what are y-.. ahh!" she says before I cut her off as I pick her up and spin her around my old room.
"Ehem.. You girls having fun in here?" my dad says as he stands by the doorway.
"Maybe. Why you ask?" I say asking my dad sarcastically.
"I want you girls getting ready. We're going out for a family dinner then having one of our old family nights before you girls leave tomorrow morning" he responds.
"Like a family day? Why, who's coming?" I ask completely lost. At this point I'm so confused that I forgot I was still carrying Ali in my arms.
"No one. It'll be just us, CeCe and of course Alison. So hurry up and get ready, make sure to dress up nice. We're going to a good restaurant tonight. Your brother is already cranky from hunger. You know how that boy gets" he replies.
Did I hear right? He really considers my girls family now?
I immediately give a quick kiss to Ali as I put her down and run over and hug my dad. "Yay! Thank you daddy!"
"Whoa slow down there tiger. Alison how do you manage to put up with her? She's such a pain in my ass sometimes. I'm surprised you managed to keep her around for this long" he says now looking at Ali.
"With a lot of patience sir. She might be a pain most of the time, but she's my pain in the ass and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world" she replies laughing.
"Sir? You can call my Wayne now, you know? Sir, makes me feel old" my dad replies.
"But dad, you are old" I say.
"Emmy. That's no way to talk to your father, now is it?" she chuckles, knowing damn well I'm right.
"Thanks Wayne" Ali responds with a huge smile on her face. "Now hurry up Em before we end up leaving you to starve here on your own" she adds looking at me.
